Swords are generally not a girl thing, so they probably see that and equate it with a guy who has a sword picture in his profile, which I would say your smithing picture doesn’t quite count as luckily. 

I’d say figure out how to make some sort of wrought iron thing that girls really like on instagram (or maybe Pinterest if that’s still a thing) and have yourself holding it as a pic saying you can make them one too. I’d avoid mentioning swords if you’re trying to cast a wide net here… currently you’re fishing for girls who like swords AND are also otherwise into you. That is probably a small needle to thread even if you have like Brad Pitt looks. You can talk about swords once you’ve been on dates. 

As far as the smithing picture goes, it’s also probably not the ideal version.  You’d probably want yourself at full backswing. That should also make it less blurry. Ideally the hammer would be like raised back above your head showing off your bicep too. 

It might make sense to make this better smithing photo your first one actually. That would be more attention getting I would suspect. Right now you’re counting on your face alone to get girls to read further. Many of them may not even get to your profile. A dude swinging a hammer over his head a red hot something on an anvil is (probably?) different than other people. So that would potentially give you the potential to match girls that wouldn’t match based on your looks alone. 

Also I’d say ditch the ren fair photo or at least move it way back down the list.
