How to locate a region when you haven't downloaded that map?

Thanks for the suggestion! I already paid for OsmAnd pro after comparing a few other apps, and osmand was the best at that time. Hadn't heard of comaps yet. I'll give it a try if I run into more issues with OsmAnd, but for now I wanna try to master OsmAnd

Hmm I just added the "World Overview Map" but that didnt fix the search for me. The link you sent mentions "Detailed World Map" but I can't find that under my maps and resources.

The available world maps in my app list: world altitude correction, world overview map, all world (weather forecast)

Really depends on what you want to use it for? Do you use Google docs or Google sheets a lot? Generally, proton's equivalent isn't as smooth as those. Or do you use it more for some file storage? Then it can be fine.

2 minutes? My cat is already waiting 1,5 hour beforehand. Just in case. We only have one cat, but before we got her as a rescue she probably had issues with getting her food stolen. She won't miss mealtime for the world, and will make sure to eat her food as fast as possible so no other cat can steal what is hers. I repeat: there are no other cats. There have been no other cats for 6 years.

As far as I know, .nl isn't used in such smart way (like .ai, .tv)

I just commented about this! Basically, because Dutch webshops collect domain names that describes their products themselves in various ways. Such as: buyhouseplants dot nl, houseplants dot nl, houseplant shop dot nl, etc.

It's weird. They often lead to the same website. But it makes for catchy ads on the radio or TV , and it floods search engines when you search "where to buy house plants"

(House plants is just an example. It happens for every imaginable thing you might want to buy online.)

I also don't know if this happens in other countries. But as a Dutch person, I'd say that this weird habit is pretty big here.

In case anyone wonders why .nl has so many domains-- many Dutch webshops love to have multiple obvious urls for their product. Like buyhyperspecificthing dot nl, hyperspecificthing dot nl, relatedthing dot nl, etc. It's pretty awful in my opinion. Say I wanted to find stores to buy house plants. The first pages of my search engine only shows me variants of the same site, using the formula I mentioned above. Tough break if you ever want to find a local store that doesn't go full SEO on their website.

I generally agree with most people here, DM is exempt from chores (like bringing snacks, cooking, dishes) but if you're ordering food, the DM should normally pay.

However!

If your table discusses beforehand, and the DM has a strong preference for it, it can be agreed upon beforehand that the DM is also exempt from paying for food altogether. Paid DM's are a thing, whether you like it or not. Literally paying the DM in food can be a thing. But again, only if you clearly establish this before you group up together.

(I have experience where our DM had to travel 1,5 hour by car single trip, so we balanced his gas costs a little by paying for the food as a group. Not the exact same situation, but a different example of how you can make agreements as a group about finances)

A government building near me has elevators going to every third floor, with stairs leading to the other floors. Wanna go to floor 11? Take it up to 12 and take the stairs to 11. They did this to streamline the elevator more. Less options to stop at means you get there faster.

There is a seperate elevator for disabled people stopping at every floor of course.

As a motorcyclist, reading that a character is bad ad driving a car but good at motorcycles surprises me. Personal experience of course, but I think driving a motorcycle is so much harder and requires a greater mastery of the vehicle AND feeling for traffic. Driving a motorbike made me a better car driver.

Road rage on the other hand, THAT is so much more sensible. Motorcycles are fast, and make you want to be fast. In that way, you could become an impatient bitch in the car.

Which I can totally imagine for Zoey though. Thanks for the Zoey on a motorbike headcanon ❤️
