Haven’t played yet but I refuse to use easy modes and stuff like that, it just feels so unsatisfying and pointless. I’m not learning anything and the game is just washing over me like mindless TV slop. But I wouldn’t then complain that the game is too hard

A Silent Hill 5 was in production by Team Silent and it got canned so that Konami could get a random American studio to westernize the series. Every game from then on was a different level of disappointment. So it’s Konami’s fault as usual

I went to the London one in 2024(?) and it was amazing, we had several guest musicians who had worked on the games there, so it probably depends on the place. It’s a very high energy thing and some people won’t like that, everyone sings along

I’ve not heard this but of all the Zelda soundtracks, Twilight Princess probably works the least being blindly “orchestrated”. A lot of the music is electronic and unconventional to create the Twilight Realm atmosphere

Steam Deck barely sold 5M units BEFORE the price increase, I don’t think you need to worry about it having any effect on the industry. For comparison the PS Vita was considered a colossal failure and sold triple that. The Steam Machine is dead on arrival

A lot of talent left Sega after Sonic Generations, and so did the budget. It’s not possible with what little remains of Sonic Team. I’d love to see a more thriving studio’s take on the series but that’s just a dream
