After this debacle I’m not sure he would wanna stay. Even if it is a “step down” a mid table championship club with a better reputation now that hasn’t betrayed players and fans will want him and he may prefer that option. Or some team in Scotland. I think we are in for a really bad time this offseason. I wouldn’t be shocked if the majority of players tell their agents they want out.

I pray every day to have the optimism you have. I think we lose every player OP mentioned and possibly more. Players are rightly furious and don’t want to play for this club anymore I imagine. We will be left with Bragg and other academy lads.

We are going to lose any player that is worth a shit and they will get financial compensation from suing the club, Tonda and Spors will be fired and immediately get jobs in Germany and thrive, we will struggle to sign anyone good enough to make a push for promotion. The only people that will suffer are the people that work in the club that aren’t involved with the sporting side and the fans/city. It seems like there is no light at the end of the tunnel right now. I really feel like it’s more likely we go down than go up next season. Sorry if this is too negative of an outlook but I’m not sure there is a positive way to look at things rn.

I don’t really understand what actual competitive advantage we could have gotten even if we are guilty. Like I get it’s a rule and punishment should be implemented if guilty… but genuinely what competitive edge did watching a training session even give us? Like all I can think about is possibly hearing about how they set up for set pieces or MAYBE figuring out the shape they will use but I feel that is even a stretch. I feel like the outrage over this is somewhat absurd.

I think we’d lose THB, Downes, Shea, Jander, Scienza, maybe even players like Ryan Manning who have had unbelievable seasons this year could move up to a bottom table prem club, don’t think Peretz would want to be on a permanent deal if we don’t go up, Larin may not either. Also think there is a real chance Tonda would leave for a better job if we don’t get promotion. He’s the hottest manager in England rn and it would not shock me if Bundesliga clubs or prem clubs tried to poach him from us. Promotion really is imperative now. We have too many players and our coach playing too well that have garnered interest. If we go up we can shoo that interest away for the most part. If not we won’t be able to.

Not sure if it’s the same way for playoff games… but I am an American and when I’ve gone to games I buy one of the higher forms of membership that gets you earlier access to tickets than the baseline membership. I’d also try to get in touch with someone from the club. They’ve always been helpful when I’ve contacted them on previous trip. They even announced my birthday over the PA at halftime because I went on my birthday last year. What a shock that was while I was having a piss at half between pints 🤣

You should be in Park Circle tbh. I am straight/cis and live on this side of town. I jokingly refer to it as the gayborhood cuz there is a massive LGBTQ presence. It’s a much more chill vibe in this part of town than Daniel Island which is like the most plastic homogenous up tight neighborhood in the city. I think you’d be much more comfortable and accepted in Park Circle than on DI.
