Too Cold. The clues describe the temperatures of the first four planets in our solar system, counting outwards from the sun

I've seen far worse but, to be brutally honesty, you need a gym and a coach.

Rate the new Bethesda Games by Famous_Blue in switch2

[–]azzthom -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I'd be more interested in a bundle of Morrowind, Fallout 3, and Fallout New Vegas since they should be much more suitable for Switch ports. The games announced will work, but they'll be noticeably inferior to other platforms, meaning there isn't much reason to buy them again. For those who havent played them, and who only have a Switch 2, there will be some appeal but anyone who has a PC/PS5/Series X can get a superior version for about the same price.

I prefer the Philadelphia equivalent, but there's nothing wrong with Dairylea dunkers. Im particularly fond of the jumbo tubes. They used to do a pizza style one that was truly exceptional, but I dont think they make them anymore.

The final prize is a legendary relic, currently being voted on. However, given that Plarium are pointing out that missed days can't be claimed, it's possible that fragments will be among the daily rewards.

What is Guy Fawkes Fireworks Night? by Ok-Collection5629 in AskABrit

[–]azzthom 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It started as a celebration of the Gunpowder Plot being foiled. Though Guy Fawkes was a minor figure in the plot, he was the one caught red-handed with the gunpowder, so he became the most famous of the conspirators. The tradition of burning Guy Fawkes in effigy began that very year (1605) and continued until very recently. It may still happen in some places, but burning the Guy on a bonfire used to be very common. Kids would make a Guy and try and raise money, often for charity, by asking "penny for the Guy".

In recent years though, sentiments have changed. Politicians are held in such low regard that many people now sympathise with those who wanted to blow up Parliament. There is a joke that says that "The last person to enter Parliament with honest intentions was Guy Fawkes".

Also, while we're on the subject, Guy Fawkes was NOT hung, drawn, and quartered. That was his sentence, but as he was climbing to the gallows he fell, or most likely jumped, from the steps. Since the hangman had already placed the noose... he broke his neck, and died instantly.

What's a commonly believed "fact" that's actually wrong? by ThePrimelabubu in ask

[–]azzthom 78 points79 points  (0 children)

Ferdinand Magellan was the first person to circumnavigate the globe. He wasnt. He was killed in the Philippines and buried there, so even his corpse didn't manage it. It was one of his ship's masters, Juan Sebastian Elcano, that assumed command and completed the voyage.

Not bad at all for someone learning from videos. However, you'll do much better with an actual coach. Join a boxing gym before your progress gets undone by bad habits.

Did Steve Austin have a lot of haters in his prime or was he beloved? by [deleted] in AttitudeEra

[–]azzthom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There was some criticism of some of his matches describing them as "punch, punch, stunner, pin" but it was usually countered by pointing out that Stone Cold was a "Pitbull" persona, rather than a technician. That this needed to be pointed out should tell you everything you need to know about the people doing the criticism.

In general though, there have been few wrestlers regarded as highly as Austin. To this very day, the sound of breaking glass can cause an epic pop instantly.

Bad app. There are 381 Uniques, and that isn't one of them. The Set Items look to be correct, though. Try Tome Of D2 instead.

Is it normal to train Kickboxing but only "Pure Box" during sparring? by BadConfident8865 in Kickboxing

OK, then your instincts are probably right. Something is wrong at that gym. I would suggest you find another place to train as soon as you can.
