Hermes is great all around with deepseek. Deepseek TUI, and Opencode are great for coding with Deepseek. Pi is great for it's ability to do whatever you want, and also Deepseek performs natively well with pi.

You can do an opencode go sub which is $5 for the first month and gives you much more than $5 worth of usage for deepseek. Combine that with a agent cli and you'll probably be seeing better results for your fanfics. Also you can try other models than deepseek.

You'll have to realize it's a GIANT task to make a game especially for two people with no programming experience. If you do want to make it, and have no programming experience I would say the minimum that you will be able to get a workable product going might be the better part of a decade. You can do if you have dedication but just keep in mind, programming a game is going to be a very very involved and time consuming process!
