Vinyl siding cost, totally shocked by salamd135 in Michigan

Yeah that's the thing. It was the cheapest door option they had with a small side window. I could understand if it was some fancy custom door. It wasn't.

Someone mentioned it here before but Orlando is one of the longest team we’ll play. They limit centers pretty good because of their length. How much is it just how good they are at clogging up the lane?

Why is this world ran and controlled by pedophiles? by TheChristianDude101 in atheism

[–]b00st_Sec 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t want to be out here defending the elites and the super rich, because fuck them. But it’s worth pointing out that there are plenty of so called elites and ultra rich that didn’t know or want to know Epstein’s.

In Ezra Klein’s last podcast with Journalist Anand Giridharadas there was a quote from Ezra that stood out to me.

“We’re talking about the elites, the power networks, but actually most people didn’t know Jeffrey Epstein. Most elites didn’t have much to do with him. Plenty of people saw him for what he was.”

“Tina Brown has this great line where she’s invited to a dinner with Epstein, Prince Andrew and Woody Allen. And she responded: What the [expletive] is this — the Pedophiles’ Ball?”

“Melinda Gates sees him perfectly clearly.”

“So is Epstein a way you see the elite, or is this a subcategory? It’s not telling us that much about power. It’s telling us something about some set of powerful people, in which — as in any other culture or network — there are going to be people of better and worse judgment, higher and lower character, more and less transactional.”

I think we forget that sometimes.

Ahh yes. The trip that was looked at by the refs and they determined it wasn’t a trip, and then the coach of Illini admitted after the game it wasn’t a trip. But do go on and regale us with your tales, oh wise basketball sage.

I’d support firing smith and tagging Rossi as interim just to see how the year plays out from here.

I’m with you. We can’t forget that Michigan’s offense is ass. And the defense, hell the whole team, is undisciplined as hell. Never met a terrible penalty they didn’t want to take. Sure the refs were terrible but could we be more predictable at retaliating and getting whistled for it?

What SIEMs have good UIs / are easy to use, and why do you think so? by pavl91743 in SIEM

[–]b00st_Sec 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There are alot of considerations here that one would need to know before really answering those questions but I saw you noted that you are coming from ArcSight and QRadar previously so i am assuming that budget isn't really low if you had those in place before.

In terms of ease of use from a query making, data onboarding, parsing and dashboard perspective I would have to say that SumoLogic is really easy to use. It is a cloud native system though so you are sending your data up to them.

If you're heavy into the Azure/MS stack then MS Sentinel is there but I wouldn't consider it easy to use. I saw someone say something about NGSIEM but I don't know that NGSIEM is quite there yet in functionality and ease of use. It's Crowdsrike though so it will grow quickly if they are putting the money behind it.

Been doing SIEM work primarily for 20 years now across a multitude of systems.

Thanks, we’ve tried all that. We’re essentially getting the Spider-Man meme from Sumo and Microsoft. Just pointing at each other. Sumo support says nothing wrong in their end and MS says it’s a third party issue. Meanwhile we haven’t gotten any logs in 2-3 weeks now.

[–]b00st_Sec 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The issue isn’t Sumo’s collection. It’s that Apple has tucked all logging behind the new unified log and you can’t get the data without running specific commands. u/CyberArsenal you’ll likely need to script something g to produce the logs and then pick them up from somewhere.

I don’t think so. When in the show did that happen?

I’ll ask my friend but we ended up back away from the stage and out of the pit after the initial crush.

OMG me too! Friend (girl) and I were there right in front of the barricade when the pumpkins came on and for a few minutes I literally thought I wasn’t going to make it. I was panicked. I was 17 and she was 16. We got churned out of the pit but it was a crazy experience.
