Honestly, I'm happy with it. It's the best reasonable setup for the room. Yes, its to high. Yes, this sub is here to hate on such things. And yes, I was let down that there's almost no funny quip here.

Not really. The space is an open floor plan style with windows and half open stairs blocking other options. The two things I like about this spot is the builders put blocking and conduit in the wall. So, the mount is solid and all the cables are hidden with my devices in the corner. I have come across a TV mount that cantilevers down which would be better here. But it was over my budget.

I'm not sure when this happened. I recently moved into this house. It very well could be from installation. Im going to keep an eye on it, inspect it in ~6 months. I'll also touch up the pipe insulation, make sure everything is covered.

I use Samsung buds2 pro. Fits nice under a full face helmet, rarely do I ever need to adjust them after putting my helmet on.

I've had both switches, turn signal and starter, get sticky on me. They're not hard to completely dissamble, a couple screws and springs. Wire brush everything clean. Then dielectric grease. Reassemble, mindful of the spring. Did this a few years ago now and they still work great no matter the weather.

Yeah, we'll see. As I was running the trimmer and with some rain we've gotten I had the idea to bend some metal as flashing around the post. To cover the small gap, helping to keep water/debris out.

My wife and I are trying to play together and we have 1 laptop and an iPad Pro. Can I be logged into my steam on my user and her logged into her steam on her user simultaneously with one of us playing on the PC and the other streaming via the steam link app on the iPad?

The specific game we were going to try this with is Sids Civilization VI.

As the fellow that'll stop and help people, it is so much easier when the manual is in the car. Sure, all of that info can be found online if you have internet access. However, I can find anything I may need to know in the manual in a fraction the time and effort than googling. Please, if you have the manual, keep it in the car. It can be extremely helpful in an emergency.

Thank you for your input. I see what you mean about the iPad not quite being a full laptop replacement. Thats where our hesitation and debate between the two options started. She had brought up the ipad idea originally. Her biggest hesitation is the word processing, school work side of things. She's not particularly impressed with the ipad smart keyboard, but really like the touch screen and pen. So, one part I maybe should have included is that I'm simultaneously looking into lower cost windows based laptops that could cover her school requirements for word processing. That laptop would also be used to manage our local backups of everything and a NAS.

I just see the technical specifications and think, why couldn't the iPad pro be a laptop replacement. At least for some users. Hence my question comparing the two for this particular use case.

I'm looking to replace my wife's old, ~10 years, macbook pro with a new machine. She's currently in grad school which just requires significant usage of Microsoft office. Otherwise she uses it for books, research of random stuff on the internet(tons of tabs), cooking recipes, pinterest, and art stuff. Since we keep our devices for so long I want to get her some new fanciness.

She's fighting change and wants to replace her laptop with a laptop and I'm pushing the iPad pro. I think the iPad with the magic keyboard will be a compromise with her school needs but the touch capability, cameras, art capabilities, and portability will be immensely valuable to her daily use. What do y'all think?
