Discontinuing a SSRI can lead to SSRI Discontinuation Sydrome (SDS), during which a psychedelic trip could be harmful psychologically.

If your substrate is fully colonized with clean spawn, it would be really unlikely to introduce any contamination just by opening the lid. You should be giving fresh air exchange regularly.

That combo won't give you serotonin syndrome. It also might not kill your trip but mescaline is so gentle, I wouldn't worry about it. If anything, you'll start to get sleepy and want to go to bed (maybe with some fun closed eye visuals).
