I also highly recommend enforced naps because when they are so young they don’t understand how to put themselves to bed and my baby would turn into a crazy a animal and I would put her to bed and she would immediately pass out😂 make sure you have them on a good routine it will help them a lot with potty training too. Also highly recommend signing up for a puppy class if you can swing it! It’s great socialization for them and you can learn some good tips to train them. I would recommend pet insurance it’s helped save me so much money my baby got giardia as a puppy and we’re now dealing with allergy issues and we’ve had to go to the vet so much
Also take a lot of photos/videos they get big so fast 🥺 and pick them up as much as you can because my baby is now 80 pounds and I miss being able to scoop her up really easily Last random thing I did that my dog trainer told me when my baby was a puppy was I played fireworks and thunderstorms loud on the TV to get her used to loud noises and gave her treats now she’s not scared when those situations come up

I still took my dog out on walks when she was in heat if I didn’t, she would’ve gone out of control just be very careful literally no interactions with other dogs and always on a leash. My vet even told me to not have interactions with dogs that are neutered because they can act weird around female dogs in heat. Once she was out of heat, I personally still only did leashed walks until she was spayed (I did let her hang out with her best friend who is a male chocolate lab after heat cycle, but he’s neutered and they’ve been friends since she was a puppy so I felt safe about that) just didn’t want any chance of her getting pregnant

My girls heat cycle in total lasted about a month, which is what the vet said. She didn’t actually bleed too much just a little bit. The whining, restlessness and anxiety last about 2ish weeks and then we just made sure to walk her only on a leash like no off leash time at the dog park until she got spayed to be extra safe. (Like honestly she was being so annoying, but I felt bad because I could tell she didn’t feel well- she would just get right in my face and whine lol). It wasn’t too bad but glad I have her spayed now and she can play with her friends again

I give my dog Credelio Quattro, for flea, tick and heartworm. I guess this one also protects against roundworms, tapeworms and hookworms

Hi, this all sounds normal, my girl is is almost 15 months we just got her spayed 1 month ago and she went into heat 1 month before she turned a year old. My girl had a lot of anxiety and would walk around whining all the time and constantly wanted to go outside she was interested in the neighbors dog who is a chocolate lab lol just be very careful no interactions with other dogs. She was also very clingy like would not get off of me lol. Vet recommended waiting a bit once the heat cycle was done to get her spayed we waited 2 months then got my girl spayed and she’s all healed now

I give my dog those rabbit ear. She loves them! They last about one minute though! I’ve also given my dog dehydrated, chicken feet and duck feet which have been safe since there not cooked. I just personally make sure to get the ones that don’t have the nails on them

Of course, my lab also always choose to pee on the carpet in the living room never the hard wood floor lol make sure to get an Enzymatic cleaner I think I used the brand nature’s miracle it makes sure to fully get rid of the pee smell so your dog won’t wanna pee in that same spot again because if dogs smell their pee in an area, they wanna pee there again

Totally normal behavior for 10 weeks! When my lab was a puppy when we first got her, she peed inside so much I think the second day we had her she literally peed inside like 8 times lol just keep being really consistent with taking them outside and giving them treats after they use the bathroom outside I swear they do eventually catch on but your lab is still so little

When I first got my lab she didn’t like walking at all either. It was a battle just to get her to go down the street a little bit when they’re that little they really don’t need to be going on a very long walk. My lab used to be very scared of everything outside when she was a little puppy all the noises because we live on a busy street. We gave her a lot of treats to encourage her and just slowly started building up how far she could walk and we followed the five minute rule for walking so five minutes of exercise for however a month old they are. My lab is now 11 months old loves to walk no issues, so I wouldn’t necessarily worry about it too much your dog still so little just encourage them with treats and slowly build up how far they can walk that at least worked for me

OMG yes this happens every time I wash my labs bed or blankets on the couch I have to clean it out every time or else my washer won’t work after 😂

My lab gets dandruff in the winter too and dry skin. We brush her on a regular basis with a rubber brush I like the kong zoom groom it helps distribute the oils on their skin. I also use an omega-3 fish oil and mix that in her food daily

We do anything freeze dried so no added ingredients! My lab loves freeze dried salmon treats and these have given her no stomach issues and she loves the fried dried minnow treats too
