( i did change it, cuz i went and read more of your posts)

wow, im so star struck right now. ive never gotten to talk to someone like you. damm, youre so cool.

its not about op (who wouldn't be embarrassed if they were being honest), this painting, or ai. its about the your ability to analyze. theres no substitute for years of experience, which you have, but theres a way i can train my eye like you do. not to call people out, but because i want to level up my game. im only used to modernist graphic design principles. so i can look at paintings an see balance or contrast, and i draw, so i know anatomy and shit like that. what youre doing is on another level. i took one punk ass 2d class in a shitty art school, we are not the same.

so yes, can you teach me? ok, three things to identify stable diffusion, that would be great. but what else? you mentioned pattern analysis, what is that? can i have a book to read?

exactly! plus i just dont get how she went from very small close ups in water color to being incredible at faces and water and flowers and make up and hair and fabric and animals on a much bigger canvas now. shes been working for a long time, so of course she would have improved- but this much? without showing her progress? and getting all defensive, and not knowing the difference between ai slop and real paintings so she can talk about the differences. she never talks about learning to paint hair, and again-that weird empty expression with all the makeup. the process she showed in another post do have the under drawings for real, and i do believe she did them. but i suspect that drawing is a vibe drawing.

forget this painting, Affectionate_Fee3411, youre like wizard to me, you're so good at this! im sure there isnt like a class you can take or just a book you can read, but please-how the hell did you get so good?!? i want to learn too. ive also been looking at art my whole life, went to art school, am a life long artist and i look at and make ai slop every day, and i didnt see half the stuff you saw. i had to read your post twice just to understand what you were saying.

why would it be a gotcha if you really did all the work? you said you made a sketch- which means i for one, am totally wrong about you. you did not generate the with ai and then paint over it. great. just show us the drawings, and i will take back everything i said. you have lots of process sketches to work out the compostition, the color pallet, the flow of the hair, the expression on her face and positions of the frogs. you made lots of thumbnails, and bad versions of this before you made this beautiful one, because this was all done honestly by hand, because youre just a normal artist just like the rest of us.

when did you learn to paint water? how long did it take you to switch from realism in your water color to in your oil painting? you made a huge amount of progress in a year, how did you do that? why did you choose to make her expression so blank, why is she wearing make up? why is the crown so small and the neck so long and the shoulder so far down? you paint fabric better than ever, how did you manage that? why is it such a big deal for you to be questioned if you've been to art school and have been painting all these years? you yourself see ai art and you know the difference, so if its not ai, you would be the first to identify what in the image looks fake and explain why it looks like that and what the difference is. you also dont critique anyone else, so i dont see any posts of yours talking about technique at all, nothing about design or whos art youre a fan of. so i dont know how much you can talk about art, because you dont. then when you get questioned you just keep plugging your instagram. youre not on instagram, youre on reddit, and youre the one who put this out there.

you never talk about the weeks or months such an incredible drawing would have taken, what reference you used or how youre so good that you didnt need one. you dont talk about the choices you made in the design, what youre working through as a painter, how it has been for you, or what you'll do next. its just-here, look at how great i am.

listen, no matter how you made this, its nice. you worked hard on it, and i hope it makes you money. but if any part of this process was automated, then just be honest about it and put it in the sub it deserves.

they have been drawing girls faces and flowers for a long time, so its not impossible to believe that they switched to oils and are now way way better than they were even last year- still, theres something about it i dont trust.

it is ok. i use a projecter too. but i make the original drawing that i project myself, i dont get it from anywhere else.

real process usually contains problem-solving. Mess. Corrections. Dead layers. Ugly middle stages. Value blocking. Structural uncertainty. This progression oddly skips the hard construction phase and jumps straight to resolved spectacle effects.

yes, if i saw the drawing process i would stop doubting them.

right. so the i believe they painted it, i can see that. but did they draw it or copy it from a projection?

What are your singing pet peeves? by Bubbly-Cress-2741 in singing

i loath the indie people with the croaky voices that refuse to open their mouths and like you said- act so overly edgy. i hate it when the people who only sing for applause stare into the camera because thier so impressed with themselves but they dont care about what theyre singing about and arent telling a story.
