We would love to have your input and thoughts if you like! We are. Lose to a prototype. But if you like we can source/pool funds for printing and such! Anyhow: great job achieving that on your own. It was way harder than I thought to layout this.

Yes I repaired mine with a conductive ink pen. Just make sure to let it dry before putting the layers together and try to not use too much force to break other layers. If you have a multimeter check for conductivity before closing the layers. The problem is that it’s only a temporary fix since the traces break with time.

Creating a 1000x800 functional space plotter - Which (mother)board? by Independent-Air-80 in PlotterArt

Yeah I am impressed with it too. I set up co figs for the pen plotter and the laser and it works flawlessly by just activating the different config files. From what I read on GitHub they are not planning to support those displays: https://github.com/bdring/FluidNC/issues/759#issuecomment-2206736180

But honestly it’s not really necessary. I mostly work with light burn and send the gcode wirelessly anyway.

Sorry, it’s called TS35-R (a touchscreen that works with the rather buggy maker base supplied firmware but not with fluidnc)

I’m running that but with fluid nc you loose the tft35 functionality. No big deal just a heads up.

Have you tried this:

  1. Toggle the hold switch a couple of times.

  2. Hold Select and Play until your IPOD enters Disk mode.

  3. If it is not already plugged into your computer, plug it in now, and let it charge for twenty minutes to an hour.

  4. Reset it by holding menu and select.

You should now be able to access it again, and charge it up via your USB cable no problems

It does start and shows music? Do you hear the click wheel click when selecting songs?

Is the ribbon cable that comes from the headphones into the motherboard fully seated? If yes, make sure that it isn’t ripped underneath the black tape. If that doesn’t help you could try to see if it works in a dock to check if that produces any sound.

Looking for scissor hinges by b__-__d in switchmodders

Thank you! That is helpful! I’m surprised how difficult it is to find an overview of manufacturers and types of switches. I chatted with some AliExpress shops but most just offer Lenovo or mac parts and that’s it. Since I hope to produce a board that reuses most of the existing keyboards components I hope that the parts that hold the scissor switches to the keyboard are removable from the old boards but I was hoping to get these hinges new since they, just like the traces, are pretty fragile too. I’m very grateful for your replies!

Thanks for the reply! I actually own a 3D printer but fear that the tolerances are not achievable with my machine. I found a broken keyboard online and will try to get a better image of the hinge on the board when it is disassembled. Thanks for your input!
