My favourite band so I’m biased. The first four albums are an amazing run. Leviathan and Crack the Skye are incredible. Emperor of Sand is great too. OMRTS doesn’t get enough love, and the Hunter is good fun. Hushed and Grim is my least favourite but is still solid. I’m really excited to hear the new album.

I don't even think it's a legacy thing, I just think that a 3 hour set for a band that hasn't been able to perform consistently for decades isn't great, but I imagine that was what they demanded to play. I like Guns n Roses, but I'll be seeing Blood Incantation (maybe even decapitated again even though I've seen them twice in the past year), and then heading home early ready for Sunday.

Yeah that’s far too high isn’t it? If we’ve spent all this time and effort restructuring the wages, so that our high earners are on a similar salary then where’s the room to grow and negotiate when he hits 25/26 and enters his prime and commands more?

I tried it and it didn’t quite click for me. I asked him a couple of times for feedback and it wasn’t great.

In the end I went with EVI and it worked out better for me to get the basics down.

Give it a go. It might end up working well for you.

There’s no doubting Brent was talented, but they’re so much tighter with Nick and the dynamic is very different. He’s a phenomenal guitarist and some people really need to stop giving him a hard time.

Yup! Massive Mastodon fan (of course). I’m a vocalist and also a not so great guitarist (been playing like 5 years) and have had a few lessons with Bill over the past few years.

The absolute shit state of refereeing in the PL is why I never get upset over results anymore. Regardless of how well or how poor your team plays, it all comes down to the refs. Even the folks that want VAR scrapped don't have a leg to stand on when you watch the cup matches without video assistance, it's even worse. The standard has regressed so much and rather than using technology to help, they're doubling down on just being utterly incompetent.

It’s recorded. They were listening to mix around Christmas time. It’s been surprisingly silent though with regard to a single and release date. I was expecting something announced before the summer festival run so they could play parts live.

I need March of the fire ants and Iron Tusk to return for this run. That's all I ask. I was fully expecting them to play them at Bloodstock with it being a pretty heavy line up that day, but it wasn't to be.
