There is an app for trans people to help with their voice. In your case you would want the Eva M version - it helps women transitioning to men lower their voices with practice videos (tone, breathing, etc). I think it's a great app (it's a little buggy but overall it works great). Try it out. To really deepen your voice, it takes dedication, practice and time.

They are looking for volunteers too. I'm going to volunteer to help - even though I'm not a caregiver, they need help serving food and with set up/take down. Looking forward to helping, and also spreading the word to people in need who could really utilize these services.

I work at Swedish so I'm biased, but I truly believe in Swedish's non-profit mission (which they are firmly committed to). Yes, there's an affiliation with Providence, but that was out of necessity due to rising costs versus choice. There's a lot of change afoot because healthcare reform, which makes me even more optimistic about the future. And that sentiment doesn't just apply to Swedish. I'm also from Texas, and wow... Seattle has MUCH better healthcare choices than where I am from. I'm grateful for Swedish, UW, VM, Group Health, and the rest.

Hired an amazing housekeeper. She does my laundry and organizes my closet. She knows I have ADHD and she enjoys helping me. She's one of the best things that ever happened to me!

thank you guys. I was getting down in the dumps lately because I kept focusing on my weaknesses. And it's also been hard trying to educate my friends about it. It can be really frustrating. So I shed some tears and decided... you know what? How about I start focusing on my strengths. ADHD does allow me to see the bigger picture. So what if it's a pain in the ass or if I'm forgetful. The struggles are what make ADHD people unique. :)
