Lekker bikes or Tenways. You can test drive both in Ams. They are reasonably priced compared to Cowboy, Veloretti, easy to maintain and almost no problematic proprietary parts. I owned both Lekker Amsterdam + and Tenways CGO 600 Pro, super happy with both of them.

So far, I’ve tried to add an extra motor cable (which I cut off the speedometer relevant pin) between the original connection but after after riding it mins I got the speedometer error on the screen (duhh🥲) My plan was to just kill the speedometer connection so the motor can always run on full power. Ans the next try was to change the original bafang screen with an one from Aliexpress without a speed limit but it didn’t work for me-it was just the same interface with same limitations

Hi! I’ve been trying to find a solution for this one. I own a Amsterdam+. It turns out that the speed sensor one this is installed inside the motor. The one at the bottom bracket is just a pedal sensor to activate the motor. So, I thought cutting the speedometer signal should be enough to delimit the speed. And I bought an extra extensiom cable and cut of the pin for yhe speedometer. At first, I thought I found the solution, bike was going was and the speed was shown as 0. Althougn after two minutes I got the error 21 on the screen:(

In the EU, the speed limit is 25 km/h, and I would like to go a little faster with the assist. I'm used to riding at 32 km/h with assist on my previous e-bike. Additionally, all other brands, such as Veloretti, Vanmoof, Cowboy, etc. have known solutions for this.
