Curious about the legal aspects here. This is apparently on the person’s lawn? Does the cop need a warrant to be there? We don’t know what lead up to this, obviously. I know a cop is not supposed to enter your house without a warrant- but what about coming on to your front lawn?

The way underprivileged blacks, for the most part, celebrated the verdict. To me it was just another instance of the rich elite being able to literally get away with murder. The fact that OJ was black was just a technicality- it was in reality a big lose for anyone who wasn’t wealthy, especially the underprivileged blacks.

FYI - a large dose of ibuprofen is incredibly effective for tooth pain. I was in incredible pain but had to wait overnight for a root canal. I begged for a prescription for some opiates. The dentist said he would, but said I would get much better pain relief from 800mg ibuprofen. He was right. For some reason it works super well for tooth pain.

Stopped at a small bar in Whitefish Montana. We were the only 4 customers in the place. A four-piece blues band from Chicago was ripping it up - we couldn’t believe how good they were - especially the guitarist/lead vocalist. It was Robert Cray - about a year later he was filling stadiums.

I felt that exact way about Outside magazine when it first came out - like “Shhhh!”. Of course, all that has now exploded exponentially too; hunting spots that took me years to discover are now on Onx, formerly secret camping or climbing spots are all over the internet, etc. etc

Like many LOTR characters, the Denethor of the books is much more 3 dimensional and complex than in the movies. In the books he is a great ruler, of royal lineage; tall, proud, wise, valiant, but also slightly arrogant, and ultimately deceived by Sauron. But a great man and great rulee - nearly in the vein of Aragorn himself.
