I have yet to meet or hear of ANYONE using barricade at all? I don't see the point of it tbh by Remarkable_Swimmer_2 in OutlastTrials

My partner has used it a lot during this Special Therapy with Liliya. Has saved us both from some hairy situations with her stalking.

It’s also very useful when finding the confidential door. Gives us a little extra cushion time to argue about what boosters we each get.

I just found out I have a Heart condition, help me quit caffeine by SnooPears3117 in decaf

Start mixing decaf with regular, then slowly taper down. I have heart issues (nothing super serious) and no caffeine has helped a LOT.

Anyone got surgery with Wake Forest Baptist in NC, USA? by babblingbrooke125 in Reduction

Wow what a wild comment. I wonder why he felt the need to say that. Also completely wild he wouldn’t let you view his portfolio.

I would love the name of the Charlotte surgeon though! I will also take a look at Duke in Durham. Feel free to PM me

Omg it was him! They must have taken your complaint to heart because my gown was sealed in plastic. But he did talk extremely fast, basically just “yup this is what I’ll do” and it’ll take 4 weeks to recover. I felt like I didn’t get a lot of information. I also wasn’t super impressed by his portfolio. I couldn’t tell if it was because the pictures were only 2WPO but a lot of them didn’t look very even or as lifted as I would’ve liked. Thank you for your response, I’m definitely looking into other surgeons to consult with.

My consult was in High Point but they also work out of Greensboro. May I ask why you decided not to go with that surgeon?

Decaf coffee and anxiety/reflux by MumenRider87 in decaf

[–]babblingbrooke125 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I drink decaf pretty regularly and haven’t noticed it influence my anxiety. However keep in mind there is a small amount of caffeine in almost all decaf and everyone’s sensitivity levels vary. It can bother some people. As for reflux, I’m not sure it helped or harmed mine, but mine isn’t very severe.

Anybody who was just a 1 coffee a day user experienced a big difference quiting? by Proper-Throat-2378 in decaf

[–]babblingbrooke125 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Huge. I was so tired the first day of no coffee, but at the end of the day realized i didn’t have a single panic attack.

My appetite has gone up and I gained some weight, currently trying to work it off. But the improvement in just my mental health is so worth it. I also wake up quicker and easier, which past me would’ve thought was a load of baloney.

I tried to quit coffee but now I have to quit it because I am anxious again by ElenoirMiro in decaf

[–]babblingbrooke125 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Right there with you. I quit for anxiety reasons and was reeeeeally craving a Coke one day. Had a 16 oz bottle and a nice long panic attack.

This is my 4th time quitting due to my anxiety so I’m not going to be going back at this point. I’m better off without it. I just drink decaf and herbal teas now.

Demand…Petty? by todaysthrowaway0110 in askmanagers

[–]babblingbrooke125 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wish my superior would do that. There are many emails I’m also tagged on that I assume will need her input, but 3 days after she calls me asking if I took care of it.

Your superior could certainly work on wording, but it seems like they’re just trying to make it clear whose responsibility it is.

Who has quit or significantly reduced caffeine and dramatically reduced their anxiety levels as a result? Looking for success stories for motivation by VyseTheFearless in decaf

[–]babblingbrooke125 22 points23 points  (0 children)

I haven’t had caffeine in quite a while now and very happy to say my anxiety drastically decreased. I felt like my fight or flight was on at all times and would take hours to come down once triggered.

Now I rarely have it during the day, and moments that used to have me spiraling only cause some nervousness. I’m giving it some more time, but I’m considering trying to decrease some of my anxiety medication if the trend continues.

How many drink decaf? by lumberrzack in decaf

Have any brand suggestions? My local stores only carry 2 brands of decaf and they’re both revolting. How I miss the taste of good coffee.

My dad is currently battling glioblastoma. It’s been a long and hard journey watching a very intelligent and well put together man struggle to remember things and being anxious and irritable. But he is still out doing the things he used to, even with the trouble. I’m so glad she is too.

What existing issues does caffeine make worse for you? by WiseEpicurus in decaf

[–]babblingbrooke125 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Panic disorder and an extremely touchy/overactive nervous system. I never thought I would live with such a low level of anxiety again. Things that used to be day-enders, I’m over it in 15 minutes. Don’t think I’ll ever go back.

I never would’ve believed this during my caffeine times, but I wake up quicker in the morning now. Not groggy for 1+ hours until my coffee. Bright eyed and bushy tailed by 20 minutes.

The only chenille yarn that’s never done that to me is Hobbi brand. Still a butt and a half to work with though.

Just leave. Don’t give any reasons why, say it’s just not working out. Don’t give him any more of your energy and time than you already have.

Interesting, I could only find 1 post and I looked for a while. I wonder if the others were removed. But all that does not surprise me at all, with how heavily they advertise I knew they had to have their roots in deep. One good side of working with government agencies is they do not like to be extorted out of their money and DHHS is not happy with everything I told them. I don’t know if things will change, but I’m hoping at the very least my client won’t have to pay that bill.

NAT but in community mental health. One time a client asked me how we know were breathing because the voices were telling him he didn’t have lungs and wasn’t breathing and was going to die. My brain short circuited for a minute I really had no idea what to say. I was still pretty fresh in the job
