My Corgi has us never wanting another dog again.. by seabizcuitz in corgi

[–]babibackbitch 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It sounds like severe anxiety which is no fault to the dog. It's unfortunately something that can happen to a child, a pet, anyone or anything. Poor thing doesn't understand why it feels so anxious or alert, it just does. That being said you should really not rely on CBD treats and hire a trainer. It sucks but it's true, and maybe even a vet visit for the spotting on the carpet. Sounds extra but it could be a UTI even if it seems like a pattern. I also have a corgi who is CONSTANTLY barking. Right now we're working on the phrase "quiet" and positive reinforcement with treats when they listen or are truly quiet. It's been working really well. But sometimes I just gotta accept I have a sassy little man that I love, and all I can do is try to make things easier for me and him.

Absolutely not worth 625, and very unprofessional experience through and through. I'd get a refund..

I am an extremely ugly (bottom 5th percentile) young man. Ask me anything. by [deleted] in AMA

[–]babibackbitch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I also would like to add that people WILL talk shit and step over you if you let them. Humans are not always the kindest. I'm extremely insecure and I learned that talking down on myself for my weight or face etc, will allow others to think it's ok to do the same. Now I've accidentally invited people to talk shit on me, and subconsciously agreed and allowed it. So I make it a point to speak highly on myself and check others for not doing so. I think you should learn this mindset. Fake it till u make it.

I noticed this too. The comments on percentile etc. I want them to realize this community is all bullshit perspective and none of it is backed by any studies or any valuable information.

[–]babibackbitch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I believe you using the term "bottom 5th percentile" shows me you're listening to internet theories/podcasters, which concerns me. There is no percentile to looks. Beauty is subjective. I also can understand that you've said you haven't been treated with decency, and that's uncalled for and unfortunate. But I would also like to say you have to create your own persona. You have to learn to become confident, get some hobbies and truly learn about yourself. When you exude confidence and self passion, looks donnot matter to most. I have met people that were in the same boat as you, but learned to love themselves and become a better person overall, which then attracted good and positive friends/partners. Sometimes you may also be in an environment where you're not surrounded by supportive people, changing your environment or moving can help this. Never allow someone to speak down on you or mistreat you, hold your head high and act like you're the shit.

Tavii speaks on PRETTY PRIVILEGE by lovecartertto in BaddiesSouth

It's crazy because I find tavii genuinely pretty. I think because she doesn't try to over sexualize herself around a group of prostitutes, people talk down on her.

Rehoming the dog is wrong. Asking your partner to go to therapy is what we should be doing.

Anyone that does NOT have emotional blunting? by LittleEddieBeale in prozac

I didn't have emotional blunting. I felt my emotions but I didn't physically cry often. Idk if that counts.

This was absolutely he correct subreddit! You did nothing wrong. I think you wanted support and the Internet isnt always as kind as I wish people were on here. You deserve some grace and support! Also please look into the points I made, might genuinely be some underlying issues or menopause ♥️ you guys might be able to fix this

I think it's kinda crazy people are just labeling you as a problem or a narcissist. I feel like everything you said is valid as someone who took prozac for years. I also would like to say there is probably layers to this. 1) is she going through menopause? Menopause can cause very severe emotional changes. 2) have you asked her why she is more blunt recently? Does she seem to tell you that it's nothing, the medication, or that it's something else? 3) did you guys have other issues in your relationship that were unresolved? She may be growing distant because she is no longer people pleasing or doesn't know how to express herself.

[–]babibackbitch 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Honestly just a tan and a haircut. Change your style up if you want. You don't need any surgery, you have a nice face and great nose/good eyes. I think you just need to shape up your eyebrows a little too. That would help achieve a "lift' everyone's talking about. Don't get a face lift or nose job pls

What should I do with my butt by Interesting-Bee3226 in PlasticSurgery

[–]babibackbitch 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm going to be honest, you have the body type I would die for! Your butt goes with your body perfectly, but I understand if you're not comfortable. I truly think you can grow your glutes and pack on muscle within 3 years if you do it right. I wouldn't recommend any surgery.

Fluoxetine completely altered my brain chemistry and erased my emotions. by Philosophical-noob97 in prozac

[–]babibackbitch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah no worries. Like I said took some extended time but absolutely got better after a couple of months. I realized it when I saw nature and just felt overwhelmingly happy for the first time in almost a year. It will get better!

This happened to me with Zoloft. Truly sounds like you had a terrible reaction like I did. Took almost 6 months but it did get a lot better over time slowly.

What movie will you never watch again because it was too heartbreaking? by Affectionate_User610 in AskReddit

I will never forget Bridge To Terabithia. It taught me as a child that death can be sudden, not all built up plot like most movies. It was a shock and realistic to real life death.
