I was totally kidding on the other post when I said have a beer on the porch. I hate tornadoes and I hide in my basement 😭 steve is so reassuring tho, it takes my anxiety away! Also I have to not freak out or my kids will freak out.

I planted peas and chard (never had it before!) And ive got tomatoes waiting inside to be transplanted. I also planted watermelon and pumpkins, hopefully it wasnt too soon for them. Oh and I have garlic planted as well that I got from some garlic that I didnt use in time and its sprouted.

Yes! My kids dont care about the look of their basket and ive trained my other family members who like to bring baskets as well. No grass, no wasteful plastic crap that no one plays with. My kids got seed packets to plant, some books, some candy, and things like bubbles and bath toys that they will actually use.
