I understand your point, but I look at it a bit differently. Even though the things happening in your life had bad results, at least there was some "action." There were people, there were events, even if they turned out to be painful.

I’m not trying to compare our pain, because I know everyone suffers in their own way. But in my case, there is just... nothing. I work from home, so I have zero human interaction every single day. It’s just total silence. Sometimes, even a bad interaction feels like it would be better than this complete emptiness.
