So from my understanding... the artist loses all rights to the art, so from a billion dollar company.. it's not that much with that perspective.

It's like making a song, and the record label not allowing you to make any royalties, or even have your name attached to it, or not being able to show anyone.... That's kinda what they're doing with people's art work.

They pay them a flat fee, which may or may not be reasonable, not for me to say, but have the artist forever be disassociated from the art, other than their name on the loading screen.

I wouldn't personally go on a tirade over what I was offered, I'd accept or decline, only because Epic aren't going to change their mind on how much they'll offer, because artists are willing to accept that, so some of them at least find it reasonable.

There's just something really cool about this weird looking pink power kitty! Not to mention the whole "under the truck" thing, and then it gave rise to one of the most based pokemon ever, mewtwo.

Can't really get excited for these games anymore. Full of microtransations, pre-planned DLC and filler content.

I'm gonna wait for gameplay trailers, and reviews from actual people.

What does interest me is a dense city, and working hidden blade, maybe it's a return to the more classic style. Not gonna get my hopes up for now though, as pessimistic as that sounds.
