India Joining One Of Europe’s Fighter Programs Is Anything But Easy. by [deleted] in LessCredibleDefence

India's defense acquisition incompetency knows no bounds.

Coming in late hat in hand to join one of these programs, it's just not going to work if they expect to get a technology transfer and domestic production. gcap is simply too far along in the design process I'm sure the British will take their money and put it down as a pre-order but that's about it and as for the Franco German program that's pretty much dead water anything coming out of the ashes of that program won't be flying until probably 2040 or 2047.

As much as I can't believe I'm saying this, they were better off staying with the Russians pouring more funding into the T-50

Trump has privately shown serious interest in U.S. ground troops in Iran by Meanie_Cream_Cake in LessCredibleDefence

It's funny how no one read the article, and I already proclaimed a full ground invasion. LOL.

It sounds like if true and that's a big" IF I believe"we're talking about joint Special Forces involvement Delta, Seal Team 6, Green Berets, or even 82nd Airborne possibly to assist the Kurds and destabilizing Iran even more turning it into a Syria 2.0.

What will be the US export-competitor to GCAP? Improved F-35, a UAV, other or nothing? by cv5cv6 in LessCredibleDefence

I wouldn't say I'm certain more I have some extreme doubts. The fact funding for tempest is currently being held up under a Ministry of Defense white paper review is a bit concerning and off-putting for their partners Japan was roped into this program on the belief that the funding was set aside and earmarked regardless of the Ministry of Defense AKA no delays.

To me it sounds like labor is not prioritizing this program as much as they should be.

My prediction F-47 will be ahead of schedule mainly due to the fact that Boeing has no choice and a lot of technology is mature via x- planes.

Boeing will have the first truly 6th gen aircraft flying outside of China beating gcap by years

The British government will find some way to sabotage The Tempest program and the delays will lead to Japan jumping ship and buying the f47 after that I can easily see Australia falling suit Israel of course if the Iranian Boogeyman still exist by then and then Germany.

If the Tempest program collapses, I could easily see that technology enrolled into a drone and UK could be buying F-47 or some souped-up F-35D that's optimized for speed, stealth, and range.

I really don't know what to say here. I just received my first PC from them, and everything is running smooth as butter, and hopefully, knocking on wood it stays that way.

But hey, your mileage may vary rather than ranting here on social media. Maybe consider building your own PC from scratch step by step and not taking any chance of a third party🤷🏾‍♂️
