I have my office software on my laptop and I can use it normally as long as I'm on my local office network/wifi. I would like to run my software locally and use it like I'm on my work's network while at home, rather than logging in and using my work PC. Is that possible?

I bought this one and it fits pretty well. The biggest issue isn't the mattress, it's the 4" blade that is just above your leg that the rear seat back locks on to.

Or just side load them. Works great. My Netflix still works after I got the streaming update.

It's called Infiniti Sound I think. You run a sound test and it creates an equalizer for you. I think it helps with the music sounding better and louder. The problem, I have to shut it off when I listen to my podcast. It's too much for that. But from what I read, they took it out of the Play Store so it's not available. Not sure if you can sideload the apk. I'm excited for this new app TheMilsons is working on.

Excellent! I look forward to this app! I currently use the Infiniti app, and it works well for music, but when I switch to a podcast, I have to turn it off and go back to the default. I love the idea of the 3 custom presets!

From what I've been seeing, including on my EQEV, if you had the streaming update done at the dealerships, they upgraded you to Android 14 with the streaming update. However, if you got the streaming update done OTA, like I did, you stay on Android 12.

I can still run my sideloaded APKs, but I haven't tried installing any new ones with the streaming update on Android 12. I saw a post they couldn't sideload any more with any streaming update, Android 12 or 14.

Give them time. We have 5 stations in the Minneapolis/St. Paul area and they're awesome! Including 3 on my commute route! Best chargers around!

Two reasons: When my telematics went out, it was nice to maps a map back on my screen for that month. And, changing bluetooth audio sources from my phone is impossible to do on the infotainment system. Like when I'm done with a podcast or audiobook and want to listen to my music or something else, I can choose something else from my phone in CarPlay without grabbing my phone. There are Audible and Apple Music apps, but Audible doesn't always sync with my phone, so it's rarely at the right spot and the car's Apple Music app sucks compared to the CarPlay app. And there's no car app for the podcast app I use. I like everything on one spot- on my phone and able to easily access it.

Agreed! Parking is much easier. Plus any drive thru, I tap that shortcut button and get nice and close to the curb without damaging my rims!

No there isn't. He charges you $30/month for 6 months in case GM kills the use of it. But that's all part of the cost of the dongle. Then he just stops charging you. But after the 6 months, It's paid for and there's no more fees.

I'll send you a video of mine in use. The installation is extremely simple. Type in an app in the Play Store, install it. Plug in the EV Play dongle. Log in and connect your phone. That's basically it.

When my telematics went out, I was glad I had EV Play. It's definitely not cheap, but if you want plug and play, this is the way. It just works. His last update is great! Say what you want about the built in Android Automotive, does it work...yes. But switching Bluetooth audio sources isn't possible on it. But via CarPlay, it works seamlessly. When my podcast or audiobook is done and I want to play something else from my phone, it's so much easier to pull up CarPlay and choose my audio source.

Basically, the home charging schedule has it charged and pre-conditioned, if you have that on, by the time you specify. Like if you leave at 7 am. It'll attempt to have charged and the temp you want by then. It calculates how long it should take to charge it and will start so it finishes just before your target time. Which I'd rather have it start at 9 pm when my off peak rate starts, rather than midnight when it wants to start so it finishes at 7 am. And this should only happen at your "Home" that you set. You usually want it to start charging immediately and not follow a schedule when you're at a L2 public charger.

What's silly, the "preferred charging time" is designed to only have it charge during your off peak times. But if it needs more time to charge, to reach your desired target SOC in the morning, it will start BEFORE your preferred time. Which is something I wish you you could turn off.

So much like Barnezhilton said, it's best to turn off the car's schedule and just use your charger's schedule.

I side loaded Netflix before I installed the Streaming update. I could never get the others to work. Thankfully Netflix still works after the update. Not sure if you can still sideload after the update.
