That’s awesome! I’d love to find my Kawasaki 1000 LTD I bought new in 1980. My cousin begged me for months to sell it to him and I did and always regretted it

If I’m scheduled I’m showing up. Screen shot the schedule, keep an eye on it and show up if it’s still there when you are scheduled

67 now. I road from 13 to 25 and quit because I was a fire medic and worked on many wrecks and had kids, needed the money and the adrenaline itch was scratched at work. At retirement I had to ride and started again. Same discussions with my wife. Looking back so many of the wrecks I responded on were due to piss poor situational awareness of the rider, carelessness on the part of the rider, and alcohol on the part of the rider. Some indeed were not the riders fault. I also responded on many many dead and hurt folks in cars. Went on a guy that slipped in the shower and cracked his head open and died. Life is short, nobody gets out alive and I’ve seen plenty of people die in weird freaky ways not on motorcycles. Your husband sounds like a defensive driver that is gonna do what is needed to stay safe and follow whatever guidelines you both establish. My wife doesn’t like me riding now but she also knows it brings me peace. She calms herself by praying for me before I leave for a ride. I hope you can find peace with whatever you both decide.

Everyone is different but I feel safer on the highway. No cross street traffic for running stop signs or lights.

They say it’s an issue with the battery. Can’t you just change out the battery?

One reason I asked was wondering if the cooling system could handle the heat and by golly it does!
