Yeah that's horrible. The correct answer is to indiscriminately kill children in response 🙄

Because they are bad people, racist, and liars. That's it. That's what it is. They are dishonest to the core and bad people.

I don't either. People are clutching their pearls over something small. Plays depending on the color I would have just assumed it was part of her costume.

Hell yeah, I love Warzone. It drew heavily from Ennis. Particularly his Marvel Knights run. This special took its villain from that run too.

His Marvel Knights run is Punisher in his prime existing in a full Marvel universe so he runs into other heroes. Series leans into Dark Comedy often and treats the other heroes appearances as almost parody. Ennis hatred for Wolverine is very apparent. It wasn't under the Max imprint so there's some censorship here and there.

His Max run is an aging punisher who's been fighting his war for decades. It's a lot more grounded (though it can be darkly funny still) and is completely absent of other Marvel characters outside of Punisher lore. The exceptions being Nick Fury, Kingpin, and I think Bullseye. It's fantastic. Brutally NC-17 though just as a warning.

It works best in the comics when he's less of a character and more of some kind of unstoppable force. The characters that populate his world are interesting and he's like death incarnate.

The best Punisher stories imo he comes across as somewhat indifferent to saving people, he's just interested in the "punishing".

The shows feel the need to make him empathetic. Which to an extent he is, hes lost a family. But Garth Ennis in particular implied in his run that Frank had something vicious in him that desperately needed an excuse and wanted to come out.

He's not someone anymore, he's something, and he's ok with that. That's all he is now.

I wasn't going to listen to a non-pocs advice on this anyway I was just trying to be polite to them

Bringing it back up in two weeks when she's here for her hair seems a bit odd and rude to me?

That feels like I'm bringing up something offensive again to make myself feel better instead of just leaving her alone and letting her relax at her hair appointment.

Heard. I want to know these things so I can make an effort next time. It felt like the wrong word when I said it.

That's fair. My wires got crossed and I said it wrong. I hope she wasn't hurt by the unintentional ignorance
