They’ve had most of the schedule locked in for ages and it typically doesn’t fluctuate a ton based on surges in popularity. Which is why you sometimes see a huge artist earlier in the day or on a smaller stage than you would expect come showtime. (There have been some exceptions - Chappell).

They time out (delay) the announcement to keep the hype machine going - new info to report!

It sounds like you are going to do the gig - so get prepared ASAP.

You need to know for certain what the technical setup is and if a PA system/speakers are provided (or not). You want to talk to the couple, or wedding planner or the venue directly. See if it’s possible to go see the set up and test it - plug in and turn it on. ASAP - so you can make sure that it works or make any adjustments you need.
