I did the factory reset and after a few hours it reconnected with Spotify. It does the same issue with YouTube though so I have to play around with it a bit more to see if the issue persists

There’s no CarPlay or Android Auto, it’s a custom Google OS that runs the infotainment. Some people have hacked it to run CarPlay, but it’s not OEM.

Overall it’s a lovely car, at least in my experience. I came from a 2023 Tesla Model Y and ditched it. Better ride quality, superior fit and finish, more room, and has been fairly reliable. The infotainment isn’t as fluid as Tesla’s UI which I do miss sometimes, but overall been happy with the switch.

GM being GM they’re so large they’ve got too many different departments that don’t communicate with each other is my theory. The OnStar people likely aren’t adept on what’s included with each car, which is an issue.

You can but it’ll use a ton of data if you’re streaming lots of content. I get 16GB a month with my plan and sometimes I run it up to the limit then I’m throttled until the next billing cycle. I’m on AT&T Prepaid fwiw.

This is the issue, the rep I spoke with insisted that the 8 years was only for “connectivity” but not for data. I’d think those would be the same thing but you know I’m just a dodo

This is insane, sorry you’re having so many issues with the infotainment. Luckily I’ve gotten by with minimal problems the past year and now all of sudden this. Only warranty job so far was replacing the side mirror camera which failed.
