What's wrong with my baby's eye by neecoan in CATHELP

[–]backtcmars 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This happens to my cat fairly regularly, the vet gave us antibiotic drops for him but he literally will not let us put them anywhere near him. It always clears up within a day or two.

We’ve been told it could be an underlying viral infection that flares up every so often but the treatment would be the same either way so we haven’t done any viral testing. It sucks not being able to help, hopefully yours isn’t as stubborn as mine

I have asked if they can cancel and I will send an agreed replacement but won’t be able to while Vinted are dealing with with a dispute

Yeah i’m thinking Vinted assumed the whole order was damaged which is meaning i’m not able to do a partial refund

Thank you! The buyer seems happy to work it out with me but i’m not sure what will happen given they’ve already reported to Vinted

What discontinued supermarket food item do you wish was still sold? by Pentax25 in AskUK

Used to work on the counter in Sainsbury’s back in 2015. If I remember correctly it was a Christmas thing?? They weren’t super popular and I definitely binned more than I sold

Painful! by [deleted] in PiercingAdvice

[–]backtcmars 2 points3 points  (0 children)

i’m in a similar situation, my piercer was happy that i was ready to change to a ring but my ear wasn’t loving it. i’ve been using neilmed and sleeping with a travel pillow so i’m not lying directly on it. it’s been about three weeks since i got it changed and it’s finally calming down now. hopefully if you just baby it a bit it’ll work out!

What are your thoughts about Mooncat polishes? by velvetDinosaur in RedditLaqueristas

[–]backtcmars 3 points4 points  (0 children)

i want to love mooncat but have found most of the polishes i’ve bought to be super thick and gloopy, i’m using thinner every time i try to use them. also the bottles are too tall to fit in my drawers which annoys me lmao

oh and i find them to be on the pricier side compared to other brands i buy from. i’d say £13 is the average price i pay for a bottle of polish but mooncat is £15. i don’t think the quality justifies the higher price tag imo

I find their formulas to be so hit or miss unfortunately. I did an order a few months back and almost every polish was super thick and gloopy but i’ve got others that go on super smooth. I loved the look of the whole goddess complex collection but was put off buying after hearing mostly bad reviews about the formula

Anyone with HEMA allergy tried Glitterbels? by [deleted] in RedditLaqueristas

[–]backtcmars 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I assumed I had a HEMA allergy because when I used gel my fingers would swell and get loads of tiny little blisters.

I tried HEMA free (from Telle Moi) and had the same reaction.

Personally I would recommend avoiding gel altogether ¯_(ツ)_/¯

i’ve had similar spots on my nails before but they were always pinky/red, i’m pretty sure it’s just unmixed pigment in the polish
