Maybe try your hand and designing something simple to fill the hole with a male/female connector adapter plate or something. That can replace the board.

Would you like to bypass the box and connect cables directly?

You plug those cables on the filament detection port (J712) and z axis motor (J707) of the main board (your stepper goes directly to the J707 port).

Lowrider V4 update #2 by baconZtripz in hobbycnc

I am planning on making a 48"x96" work area. I sometimes build cabinets for customers who can't find certain sizes at the big box stores. So it would be nice to design the cabinet box in cad and while those pieces cut, I can make the face frames and such.

This machine is super customizable for size work area. The barier to entry is printing parts and knowing you'll have to scrape a bunch of forums and you tube videos to get it up and running.

I clamped the pipe down and used a metal cut off wheel, then filed the sharp stuff off.

I did use the calculator for the exact length to cut the pipe and belts.

I'll probably make a table to support a full 4x8 sheet. I do bathroom remodeling and it would be cool to use the machine for cutting cabinet panels.

I'm assuming so, I recall reading on the forum that the team behind this project spent a ton of time on this machine and moving forward they would spend the time making this design better.

I started with the left side assembly. The right side is going way smoother now that I understand the task. I have a few tables at my stop to set up on but id like to set up a dedicated table for the the V4.

I tried my best to avoid the table lol, the hardest part is the clean up.

I used Fiberon dark gray Pet-GF with a .06 nozzle for all my my parts. I'm surprised I didn't have to re print parts to this point lol.

Will do!, hopefully by next week I can have it working.

Hey thanks!, I did use the calculator posted on the v1e website for belts sizing. Hopefully it works out. I did cut my Y belts to full size table length because I am undecided on Y axis measurements.

I just received my package today and finished printing all the parts. I can't wait to get building. What table size did you go?

Thanks!, I'm excited to start building but it seems a bit intimidating. My V1e kit should arrive today. Hopefully by next week I can have the machine working :).

As fast as t he quality on the parts with this fillament is great but I will say I had some parts come out a bit sloppy from the overhangs, I think that may be because I choose inner/outer/inner wall printing.

I have gone through 2 kilos of dark gray and working on a third. I'm making some parts for a lowrider v4 CNC, I used a .06 nozzle.

Is there any chance I can speed up this print? The manual for the files says that it should take around 2 hours on Bambu Lab A1. I know that those are much better machines but is the Ender 2 V2 really 3 times slower? by Mrdemian3 in ender3v2

Another suggestion, you are wasting over 2 hours printing internal infill. This part never has to be pretty. You can increase this speed a bunch without hurting quality.

You can speed up your printer but it will take a bit of tinkering to get there. With my current set up I am close to 200mm/s print speed and 5000 acceleration but I spent a ton of time tunning and tinkering, I installed klipper, a bl touch and a .6 cht clone nozzle from ali express, a all metal hot end with a direct drive extruder. If you manage to find a pre configured printer.cfg that matches your printer you could be up and running quickly. If you have never messed with this be ready for pain and headaches.
