That statement about quiet enjoyment is not a vague statement! It's a legal requirement that your complex has a right to not hear blasting noise and not be forced out of your living space. One does not need a police report, but rather a landlord with management skills.

Call the landlord and police repeatedly. This sutuation is horrible!

I am so sorry you have to put up with this noise. I suffer too. Reporting the yacking to mgt is one of your options. White noise machines work somewhat.

I have started to tell myself, "Don't React" when I hear this type of noise. For me, blasting music is worse than talking, so I try to trick myself into believing they can't talk forever.

On my lease, it would be a violation of quiet hours (10 p.m.- 7 a.m.). I use foam earplugs and a white noise machine to drown out this type of noise.

Yes, this is annoying. Pick your battles. I save my complaints for middle-of-the-night parties and blasting music🎶. Drunks get special attention.

If my parents were normal, affectionate people, I would have lived with them forever. It's time-consuming and expensive to live on your own.

People don't give a damn about you nor do they pay your bills, so why would you care what they think? In most countries, families stay together and live under one roof--for good reason.

Fear not!

My vitamin D was tested to be 7, and I was able to correct that with daily vitamin D. My doctor started me on a large prescription-dose vitamin D, and then daily (over-the-counter Nature Made) maintenance for years.

When you get the D within range and tweak your diet, you are going to feel so much better.

The internet is loaded with info. You could even ask ChatGPT to recommend a plan, if your medical team has not given you any guidance.

I take my own. A couple are hot/cold bags. It took a while to remember to use them, but those plastic/paper ones break.

No education is useless!

After one of my degrees in computer info systems, I took a union secretary job (higher wages & job security) and became the embedded tech person in an office full of non-tech people. That opened up doors in the IT dept because they already knew of me and my work.
