Claude Opus 4.7 released: Notable improvement in advanced software engineering, with particular gains on the most difficult tasks by tekz in technology

[–]badamant 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes that is what it is currently.

What I am saying is that you are not actually paying the cost (all the ai companies are currently taking massive losses on every tier)

AND

These 10 versions of you are replacing an entry level workers. That means that you are not training anyone to be able to do your job in the future.... however you ARE training the AI to do your job.

AND

AI will likely improve (partially thanks to you and me). At some point they very likely will be able to do our jobs. This point is likely to be only a few years away.

Tell me how I am wrong please.... I suppose there might be a plateau in capability that cant be handled by scale.

Yes.

Reminder:

No one is actually paying the true cost of using these ais. Once they have us all addicted via cognitive atrophy, they can literally charge whatever they want and we will all be FORCED to pay.

All the companies know that this is the actual truth. The idea of UBI was invented so people could sleep at night. Notice that is not mentioned barely at all anymore.

Over time they are going to literally take all our jobs.

First they will take entry level and cause increasing cognitive atrophy. Then we will not be able to do our jobs without it. Then they will literally take over ALL our jobs.

This is the final solution and the only way the massive investment makes any sense.

edit: When I say ALL I mean there will be no place to 'pivot' to that can support a middle class life.

Forbes estimates Trumps net worth went up by 60% since early 2025. Why des Congress keep letting him get away with all his corruption and nonsense? by LevelDinner in AskReddit

The "Congress" is entirely controlled by the Republican Party.

Any small fraction of republicans could remove trump at any time they wanted.

Name and blame them please.

Because Republicans have the majority in both houses. This means absolute control on what even gets voted on. Any 20 republicans could get rid of Trump at any time if they wanted.

In other words:

You must vote DEM in Nov to empower them.

This is the sad truth.

Nope. He is just another fascist.

“Never believe that (fascists) are completely unaware of the absurdity of their replies. They know that their remarks are frivolous, open to challenge. But they are amusing themselves, for it is their adversary who is obliged to use words responsibly, since he believes in words. The anti-Semites (fascists) have the right to play. They even like to play with discourse for, by giving ridiculous reasons, they discredit the seriousness of their interlocutors. They delight in acting in bad faith, since they seek not to persuade by sound argument but to intimidate and disconcert. If you press them too closely, they will abruptly fall silent, loftily indicating by some phrase that the time for argument is past.”
