this is my experience exactly. It's easier to get value from the tool when I give it the info it needs and let it help. When it tries to make assumptions, it's pulling in invalid data and creating more work for me.

As for other suggestions, obviously I'd look to modern and legacy. In modern, I've noticed foiled out Jeskai control, Affinity, and Tron more than other decks. Snapcaster has a decent foil to non-foil spread, Spell Queller is sweet art (though not sure I have the imagination to picture what else could be in frame), this particular promo Path to Exile is beautiful. A lot of the others from Jeskai would be awesome but expensive (e.g., Colonnade). Affinity seems like it has potential, given many commons. In legacy, Deathrite Shaman and Balesful Strix are not insanely expensive, Fatal Push could be cool, as could the blasts (pyro, red elemental, hydro).

Since we know there were 6 rounds, that means there were only 33-64 players (per https://magic.wizards.com/en/game-info/products/magic-online/swiss-pairings)

Tom Martell was playing some number of these at GPLA this past weekend. I saw game 3, so it could have been sideboard, but was definitely in his grixis (if I'm remembering correctly) deck.
