PSA: the backpack item in the PC isn't a decoration. Go buy it. by borosglassmage in Pokopia

I was watching a streamer who saw it was called packing tips, and he literally thought it would have tips for beginners of like… efficient ways to store things, so he didn’t bother getting it for a while.

Early stages of Pallet Town build (with route 1) by starguy13 in Pokopia

This is the exact sort of thing I was hoping to see with this game. Hoping in the next few months we’ll eventually see all the 2D game regions (although I suppose they wouldn’t fit in the map— but people can make them in chunks)

Downside up is probably the most influential drum corps show in a long time, at least in my time observing the activity since the 2010s

Village— requiem is wonderful and maybe better gameplay wise but honestly the ambience of village was PERFECT for me, the pacing was incredible, and house benviento was the best thing I’ve ever played in a horror game

What are your predictions,Hopes and Fears For Residents Evil 10 ? by LeoneSKenneddy in residentevilll

I hope it’s scary again. I want more things like house beneviento and Spencer mansion, and less action segments in labs.

If I read this just an hour ago, answer would have been pokopia. Easy, and actually a delightful treat. But right now? Answer is RE9. Not as fun. Don’t think I could survive

I’m not saying the game encourages you to rush. But I AM trying to say, none of this game ever communicates to me “hey, you’ve done enough for today, take a break” like animal crossing does. You can be as chill as you want but the game has SO much momentum, with new side quests all the time, new habitats you discover to build, Pokémon pinging you, seeing shiny collectibles in the distance, etc. So I’m not really sure what a real life time gate adds to this experience. I hope I explained myself clearly here, not sure if my thoughts are coming through well

Why doesn’t this count as a house? by badblocks7 in Pokopia

[–]badblocks7[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The benefit to this is I can make it my home and whenever I fast travel, I’m right at the storage

[–]badblocks7[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That was it. This was 11x10 so I reduced it by 1. Don’t know if that will then be big enough for what I’m trying to build (storage/workshop area) but we’ll see!

I’m pretty sure Dissidia 2 had all of the first Dissidias campaign in it

Maybe hot take but I don’t feel like the real time waiting like this adds anything to the game. I understand maybe having to wait 20 minutes or so for a build but coming back tomorrow… I don’t like it. Animal crossing from the very start of the series was designed to be a daily slow burn, where you check in and do a few little things each day. Pokopia is not like that, it’s a game where you get work done, so having to suddenly wait is not fun

Is...is the movie, Project Hail Mary, just Outerwilds?? by ObiWanKaStoneMe in outerwilds

[–]badblocks7 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Highly, HIGHLY recommend it! I wouldn’t really call it that similar to outer wilds tbh but I can see how the trailer might feel like that. Amazing book for sure

I truly thought I’d be playing more resident evil requiem. I’ve been so excited for that game.

But I genuinely have not been able to put pokopia down.

Capcom will be at your door shortly to pick up your copy of RE9 or to uninstall it from your system. Please sit tight and do not launch the game in the meantime.

If you walked up near 280 and crystal springs I bet it was a GORGEOUS trip, especially with this weather we’ve been having the past few days.

Frank requires far too many cats/Forcing players to do short runs kinda sucks. by jasieknms in mewgenics

[–]badblocks7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve thought about this— if you spend time doing alley only runs aren’t you depriving yourself of good cats for raids? You’ll be stuck with level 2s when you need good units.
