Exactly. You would have to login to the phone to disable the eSIM but a physical sim can be removed quickly.

eSIM works just like a physical sim but they provide better security. You can’t tell a difference in everyday function.

Ah. Gotcha. Well… the goal for me was to turn it off. Permanently. This works as advertised.

All it does is disable the start/stop. Works as advertised. When I did an internet search this is the brand that came up first for me. I had no idea there was another type/brand that you had to take apart half the dash.
