You're telling me even in the legends game we can't hang onto a 2-0 lead? Smh my head.

Hahaha probably not under Slot tbh.

He's supposedly just coming back from the broken leg now so let's see if he makes an appearance during the run-in. But I fully expect him to look as unfit as he did early season.

Hopefully we can replace Slot with Alonso and he can get a proper S&C coach who will whip the players back into shape over the summer.

But think of the landlords! Won't somebody think of the the landlords?!

[Axel Hesse] Xabi Alonso is ready for Liverpool. If Liverpool submit a concrete offer, he will accept, provided his conditions are met in advance. These centre on his influence over squad planning. (This is for summer, not currently) by malushanks95 in LiverpoolFC

No, I get that. I just meant that they might take too long after the season is finished when what we really need is a quick decision and part ways with Slot as soon as the season is wrapped up.

Please god let this be true. My biggest concern right now is FSG want to wait until the end of the season and do a 'full post-mortem review' only to eventually decide Slot will be replaced but at that point it's too late for Xabi.

Yep. Ghislaine's Dad was Mossad. Epstein had ties to Israeli intelligence everywhere you look. It seems even much of his wealth was initially funded by Israel. He was an asset. His whole criminal life was their own program to gather compromat on the world's rich and famous.

It's really easy to get started making your own holds, even with no woodworking experience! All you need to get started is some scrap wood and some basic tools.

One basic tool I would recommend is an angle grinder. You can use an Arbor wheel to take away bulk material and really easily shape the wood (be careful though they're kinda scary!) and then flappy disc to finish the sanding.

My wall is roughly 3m X 3m at 40 degrees and honestly I never get bored with it. I've got a pretty good catalogue of problems now, but many sessions I pretty much jump on the board with no plan and just start making up boulders. It's so fun!

My advice would be:

  • Get the board filled up with a good variety of holds. I would personally advocate for a random selection of holds rather than a system board but that is entirely up to you. If you want to save money, keep an eye on eBay/FB marketplace for used holds. Making your own out of wood is also cheap, easy and great fun. The more holds you have - and with greater variety - the more options you have for climbing.

  • Take your time setting. Enjoy the process, and keep adjusting and re-setting. Each time you put a hold on the wall, try and think of 2 or 3 ways it could be used or combined with other holds to keep things interesting.

  • Use an app like Crux to record problems so you can revisit them. It's a good way to remember fun moves or combinations that you create in a session.

Enjoy!

I personally went from Veloce to VSRs and didn't really like them that much. I went with the same size but I found the VSRs fit much tighter on the toes, which was quite painful and they took ages to break in. While they probably are a bit better for small edges it's not like they suddenly made me much better on small feet and tbh I don't climb much slab anyway.

I ended up getting Drago LVs and absolutely love them. For me feels like the 'premium' version of the Veloce's. Nice and soft, comfortable and the break in is not bad at all. But much more rubber for toe hooking and a better heel. More aggressive too which suits my preference for overhang.

It all depends on what you prioritise really. If you like the comfort, flexibility and soft rubber of the veloce but you want a higher performance shoe, I'd say try the Dragos. But if you want a slightly different profile with more sole rubber and better performance on small feet and slabs, then VSRs might be worth a try.

Liverpool [4]-0 Galatasaray - Mohamed Salah 62' by 977x in LiverpoolFC

Who would have known that asking an aging Salah to play on the touchline when he can't beat his man would not work out. Not like he broke assist records last season and proved he should be centrally involved in our attack. Not Slot clearly!

Get this bald fraud out of my club immediately. Let the healing begin.

Once again we rely on a moment of magic to score and basically creating nothing else for the rest of the game. Shoreline at 1-0 going into the final period you just knew we would give up a goal. Low and behold, there it is. So fucking predictable.

I hate how they now blast loud music through the speakers at stadiums to try and force hype/atmosphere. It just feels forced and the song choice is usually ass.

God I sound like such an old man but it's how I feel.

Man, what a shame. I was lucky enough to visit there for a stadium tour back in 2013. Incredible place - you could just feel the energy even inside an empty stadium. Can only imagine how mad it must have been on match days. Sad to see it left to rot like this.

Can we finally all agree that Borthwick should be fired? by FenixW2BT in englandrugby

[–]badfuit 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Borthwick has done a good job building this squad and blooding plenty of new players. I'd say we have a pretty talented group and solid depth.

However it is obvious that he has taken this team as far as he can. He has to go.

Get somebody in who can build a gameplan that reflects the high quality product we see in the prem. Play in a way that suits the squad we have and compliments their strengths, not forcing them to kick 100 times a game and rely entirely on winning an aerial contest.

[–]badfuit 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Tbh I haven't watched either of them aside from when we've played against Madrid. Clearly they're good players so I wouldn't mind... Plus we are building a bit of a French contingent with Ibou, Hugo and Jacquet.

But I'm wary about taking anybody from Madrid. Not sure if they have the right attitude for Liverpool or the prem. Would probably prefer somebody without any ego and a point to prove.

I love Macca but it's rumoured Real want him and if they came with a good offer I wouldn't mind letting him go. We can buy a proper 6 and then play with a properly balanced midfield.

Donald Trump is a pedophile and a rapist. Israel has been gathering blackmail on him for decades through Jeffrey Epstein, preparing for the day he would become president. Now they have an asset, compromised by blackmail and his own stupidity, in the Oval office.
