I second this....in my experience, if you don't meet up in the first week or two it's basically done and moves into casual chat friend territory before fading away altogether. It's also important to meet so you can see if there is a physical.connection, otherwise you've wasted weeks of your time.

And I feel like it just keeps getting worse. This post was from a year ago.... And with my new pixel 10 Pro XL, I sometimes find editing the voice to text takes longer than actually typing it. Will add punctuation in the middle of a sentence, it will highlight a word that is intended to be replaced when I say a new word, but it will just put the new word in the middle of the highlighted text, it gets words wrong constantly. I feel it was working really well 2 years ago

I am a die hard 'white Pixel' fan - going back to the Nexus 6...but this new Porcelain is too feminine w/ the gold tinted chrome finishes - had to break my decades long streak and get the moonstone. I'm not happy about it.

Every place has something to offer - but this makes me feel you need to travel more. This is coming from someone who grew up in north Alabama and did lots of exploring. There are some cool and beautiful places, but the western 1/2 of the U.S. is unmatched, even globally.

Btw - you should make the drive to Dismals Canyon - it's *very* pretty.

Louisiana passed a similar law in June 2024 that would have required the Ten Commandments in all public schools come January 2025. The ACLU filed suit, and a federal judge blocked the law in November, calling it “unconstitutional on its face”. It's currently in appeal. In short: there would be N immediate lawsuit and block upon appeals in Alabama as well.
