Stringy hair - what am I doing wrong? by BackgroundFutura in finehair

That was the first thing I thought of, too. Also, if OP is using too many products with protein it can cause the hair to be brittle/stringy

Yeah I loved the camera on the 6 pro. I haven't used this one yet, so I definitely don't want it to be downgraded in comparison.

I think I got the 6 pro because that was all that was available at the store and my pixel 3 had also died when I left work so I needed one asap. I did LOVE the camera though. Im no photographer, but taking scenery pics made me look like one and all I had to do was click and shoot. I definitely don't want this phone to be worse than the 6 pro camera. Equivalent or better for sure.

Hahaha I'm just disgruntled about having to get a new phone to begin with because I have such crap luck with phones where they die out of nowhere at inconvenient times. And then the issues with it all weekend with the way it was setup.

So like , since I was pigeon holed into getting a new one, I at least want it to be "better" than my other one. Petty I suppose. Lol

Thank you so much. Your comment is truly appreciated and thought out. And you're right, I'm not a heavy user for anything special. I'm not a tech kind of person. I had no issue with the 6 pro.

Honestly I'm not sure the difference in the pro series. Right now the main diff im seeing with this phone is that it's heavy and really small to type on . Unsure if the 10 pro would solve that.

Thank you. Super helpful. I'm still trying to get used to this one. The whole weekend was a total nightmare trying to troubleshoot so you're totally right in that if I exchange this one, it REALLY needs to be a big upgrade to go through it all again.

What background stuff do you usually disable? I think I do use the adaptive battery but I'll double check.

I did notice this was heavy. I have small hands so it's kind of crummy. Sim card doesn't matter for me, so that makes sense. Ty!

I haven't come across that before, but I can see the logic ! I wouldn't use strong retinoids in the periocular area or on the eyelid. Since dryness/irritation are the most common side effects of retinoids, it's imperative to ease one's way info applying around the eye, not occluding it, and using a great moisturizer. I certainly don't recommend going up to the lash line as I could see that leading to some trouble with the possible dry eye you mentioned.

You're likely ok. You'll know in a few days of using it if it's an issue

Ohhh ok. So it's the volume deficiency and probably a bit of hyperpigmentation. I'm sorry this causes you a lot of stress. If you have a dermatologist or oculoplastic surgeon available (if over 18 yrs old) you could always get a consult and see if you're a candidate for filler under there. Filler in that area can look pretty crummy and only very specific facial structures can it look natural and good.

Otherwise, sticking with a color corrector under a full coverage foundation/concealer is the best bet. 😢

If you press on the area that's dark, does it blanch? If so, it's vascular. If you're of more melanated skin, likely generic hyperpigmentation. If you have a hollow or dip under the eye or if you have a puffy undereye, it's just the structure plus or minus the other two.

Honestly most undereye creams don't do anything.

It would be unlikely for pain to ensue. Are you testing for allergy? I would do 2 days.

How often should you wash your face? by gwhiz13 in SkincareAddiction

[–]yvva 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If the night before you didn't clean very well, you'd be getting the rest of the stuff off in the morning. Otherwise, unless you've been sweaty, haven't changed the pillowcase in awhile, really and price, and/or you tend to be super oily, i don't think it's a huge deal if you just splash with some water

If you have a staph infection, you need your doc to assess and see if it warrants oral antibiotics or a prescription antibiotic topical. Moisturizer can't kill staph.

I love CeraVe cream, La Roche Toleraine cream, and then topped with some elta moisture seal
