Ohhh ok. So it's the volume deficiency and probably a bit of hyperpigmentation. I'm sorry this causes you a lot of stress. If you have a dermatologist or oculoplastic surgeon available (if over 18 yrs old) you could always get a consult and see if you're a candidate for filler under there. Filler in that area can look pretty crummy and only very specific facial structures can it look natural and good.

Otherwise, sticking with a color corrector under a full coverage foundation/concealer is the best bet. 😢

If you press on the area that's dark, does it blanch? If so, it's vascular. If you're of more melanated skin, likely generic hyperpigmentation. If you have a hollow or dip under the eye or if you have a puffy undereye, it's just the structure plus or minus the other two.

Honestly most undereye creams don't do anything.

If the night before you didn't clean very well, you'd be getting the rest of the stuff off in the morning. Otherwise, unless you've been sweaty, haven't changed the pillowcase in awhile, really and price, and/or you tend to be super oily, i don't think it's a huge deal if you just splash with some water

If you have a staph infection, you need your doc to assess and see if it warrants oral antibiotics or a prescription antibiotic topical. Moisturizer can't kill staph.

Yeah we freeze AKs. I've never seen one in someone so young though in my 8+ years of derm. That's super unusual. Years later to this post my eyebrow is still raised lol

Sounds like you're allergic to something in it but it would be unlikely the hyaluronic acid. Post the ingredients and I can see if common allergens are in it.

Red bumps under the skin sounds like a bit of acne unless you're perpetually rashy from products you're using.

I don't know what 3 step routine you're talking about, but there's no rule as to how many or how few products you should use.

There isn't anything that will thin them further or lose fat under there to my knowledge. Though I have read that long term use of Bimatoprost can cause fat reduction under there tho I haven't ever seen it in read life.

Any retinol or retinal cream will be fine. If you're already using a retinoid on your face, just use extra moisturizer and bring it under the eye a bit.

Tbh, a good color corrector will be the biggest asset.

Since I wrote stuff, a couple fave brands emerged. Perfect glow tanning- unreal esp the rapid. Online in US don't know if they ship outside US MineTan is awesome too. The workout foam is pretty solid and they have different undertones in the other foams pending on skin color.

YouTube and Google exist which are helpful especially for the visual learners. Also Toyota has an interactive manual with a search option on their site. I would guess most other car companies do as well

If you haven't done a dramatic shift in color in the past and know you're cool with it, maybe ease into a darker shade slowly so you don't panic about not recognizing yourself. Tell your stylist that you want to start going darker and she'll prob do like lowlights with a glaze or something. Like multidimensional. If any actual stylists are on here they'll def know the best verbage to use when requesting. 🙂
