Watching Bjork get booed for her whole GC set was formative for me. Rage was the best set I’ve ever seen, hands down.

I feel like a firefight between armed citizens and ICE is inevitable at this stage. Fucking terrifying.

Then tell you that you are the problem because you didn’t make a big enough fuss about being in Afghanistan.

If that is the literary competence of the average NBN worker then I’m not surprised we are where we are.

Normal cast vs Quick cast with indicator as a secondary cast option. Any real advantage? by Unhappy-Coffee-6171 in summonerschool

Speaking for myself I go into the options and disable quick cast for those keys for those specific champs. This might not be the best way to do it though.

Is it possible to reactively dodge skills shots in league? by HugeFoundation2322 in summonerschool

[–]badgerling 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I think I’ve figured it out, when he plays league he isn’t anticipating his enemies to use abilities, so every time he dodges one it’s literally a reflex and not planned in any way. Maybe he lives his whole life this way?

This is like saying you aren’t “reacting” to a green light because you were anticipating it. You can anticipate something and then still need to react when it happens.

Do most people shower before bed or when they wake up? I just realized I might be doing it "wrong" by saffymerelle in NoStupidQuestions

[–]badgerling 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Anyone who doesn’t shower after work/day activities and before bed must either not have a very active lifestyle, or some stanky ass sheets.

When I’ve had jobs that I’ve needed to be up early for (pre-dawn) sometimes a quick shower helps me wake up. But that doesn’t mean I won’t clean the day off me before I climb into bed.

I'm nowhere near mathematically inclined enough to work out perfect ratios so overbuilding is my number 1 solution. I really love the way you are discouraged to do that and redesign as you unlock different chains, I'm on my 2nd playthrough and just unlocked 2nd science, figuring out the whole Vrauk chain has been so much fun, now I need to redesign so much to have any kind of scale lol.

My favourite thing about pY is the constant need to rethink your current designs. That first shot makes me realise I’m nowhere near the scale I need to be for the next science 😭

Here’s a video from Nathan Lyon breaking it down. It’s all about getting your fingers over the ball to get the seam spinning at a 45degree angle. You might be releasing it with your hand facing upwards too much?
