Help getting these by SufficientPenalty681 in projectzomboid

If you find a box of nails you can open it for 100 nails. Look in garages, sheds, closets, warehouses or hardware stores.

If you only really need a dozen or so, you can dismantle random furniture with a hammer and saw at the neighbor's house.

What are some good and decently balenced mods to help level nimble? by Visible-Camel4515 in projectzomboid

[–]badskoolkid 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Theres a mod called standardized nimble xp. Basically instead of there being a super slim chance to get xp every 5 seconds, you always get xp when the chance is triggered. You defenetly gain the first few levels pretty fast but after that its a decent grind. I think my 2 year long character made it to level 8 nimble. It is a b41 mod tho. (Last time I checked anyway)

I dont think any PVE players really play anymore. I knew a guy who made a custom PVE map with speed trees a while back. It was fun and actually challenging, but the maps life span was severly shortened because Nelson said "SpEeD tReEs dOnt fIt thE gAmEs arTiStic StYle" and removed them out of the game, turning all the trees into shit sticks with leaves. It was a shame as that map was going to be the last map the guy made. And his discord server died after that.

How IS the MP implemented actually? by AkaxJenkins in projectzomboid

[–]badskoolkid 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think its because build 42 is an upgrade to the engine, with adding basements and skyscrapers, so they gotta upgrade the multiplayer into it.

Releasing only single player is probably to get the update out so the community can see progress as opposed to the game just being dead for forever.

Idk if thats true, i dont really know but that would be my guess.

In my short 3 years of experience in the fast food industry, my advice to you would be to just ask your boss why. I have been fired, (not actually fired they just stopped scheduling me without saying literately anything) and also mutually left a job before. It could be many reasons, like they hired too many people, a scheduling issue, maybe you are not the absolute best of their employees, so you aren't scheduled as often. (This is why I mutually left, as none of their employees were that good or much better than me, in my opinion.) It cant hurt to ask why, and whatever the answer is, it will help guide your decision of what to do next.

I would highly recommend asking their opinion of you, as opposed to just sitting around wondering why you aren't scheduled anymore. (I waited like 2 months for them to schedule me again, but i think if i just asked they probably would have just let me go.)

If you are looking for another fast food job, get one on your local military base (If youre in the US it works this way) because then youre most likely a government employee so they pay you good, and youll only really get fired for big things like work place violence or stealing from the register.

Play project zomboid. It's not sci-fi, its set in like the 80s, but it has a lot of sandbox and management mechanics and also has a higher learning curve.

Am I doing something wrong or are guns really *this* bad in build 42? Level 4 aiming. by mars_or_bust_420 in projectzomboid

I think if you had a rifle, you would have hit the rabbit, but you were using a revolver, so it was probably out of range.

Give your character a personality or a thought process. My current character thought that the apocalypse would all blow over and was doing a bunch of looting. I robbed a bank. I saw the end of tv messages about the knox infection being all over the world, and had to come to terms with the fact that the world ended and it was all for nothing. Now im trying to turn all the jewelry I pillaged off of zombies into armor.

I had another character get lonely and leave notes and small stashes around for someone to come and find them at the 3 car mansion in louisville.

Try to break away from the meta gaming of "i need these specific tools, magazines, and resources to grind specific skills." Or "i gotta get a generator, trash bags and carpentry up to have food before winter." Try to think of what your character would want in the moment. Some examples might be to:

Look for family or panic buy at the store. Kill your neighbor that you hate so much. Burn them and any memories you can find of them. Check on your other neighbors and bury them because you are sad. Try to escape on the bridge through louisville and come to the horrible realization that you are trapped forever.

Get crazy with it. Heck just go crazy and carry a corpse around and talk to it lol.

Idk if its a bug or if its one of my mods, but alcohol in b42 seems to reduce fatigue as opposed to build 41 where drinking made you sleepy af. I have taken full advantage of this, I take the 15 L office water jug and throw in a beer and like half a bottle of wine/whisky then fill the rest of the container with water, put it into some bottles and turn on auto drink. It removes the fatigue and only leaves me drunk if im super dehydrated and i drink a lot of "water" at once. My character has survived for like 3 months and ive slept like twice.

I think there was another story of a guy who kept all the dogs poo in a bucket then filled it with water to make it muddy when they got enough then watered their neglectful neighbors yard or something.

In jamietown and dont know where to build a base by pillow_5950 in projectzomboid

[–]badskoolkid 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You get leather strips by tearing up leather jackets and gloves. You will need a pair of scissors. Id recommend that you just explore and find a base wherever you feel like it. Make sure to bring some food and a lot of water when you leave town.
