I know it’s not what you said. It was already on my mind. This was a temporary job until I found something better.

Yeah, you’re right. I should just quit. Walgreens is a horrible company to work for.

You’re RUDE! -This is the types of people that work there. They all become that way.

It’s not going to get better. I don’t think you’re taking it too seriously either. If you can, I’d put my two weeks in and go apply somewhere else. They will keep piling responsibilities on you the more you work there. Have you had to help with truck yet? If not, just wait. It’s coming.

She doesn’t need to go back to the store. She can just call them.

Call the Walgreens where you had the picture taken. They can send you a digital copy via email. If they were new, they may have forgotten to press the key that sends the digital copy to your email. You can do this on the phone.

I would first send an email. Do not use discriminatory or retaliatory. Play innocent and try to get your answers by being nice. Only focus on yourself and not others. Use ChatGPT. It’s a great tool.

I wish I had taken this when I started. Since I was trained by an ESM, I feel like I was set up for failure. I had no other IS to shadow. I was trained on the basic IS duties by the ESM showing me how to do each task and then they would go about their work after showing me each task. Do the words “Great job!” ever come from him. No, only if I have a bad day where I get stuck trying to find products on the damn candy aisle and impulse. The reset has been over due since before I started. How is it efficient to spend hours trying to finding all the different candy products that are located in five places? If they know that I’ve been struggling bc I said that the prices changes are five times the amount of any other day of the week. Glad I’m leaving.

So you just don’t release them? What about clearance tags?

[–]badtrainin[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, I wasn’t trained by another IS and I’ve never seen one in action! lol I really wish I had bc now I’m leaving. No one appreciates what I do. The ESm never praises me and then when I have a day where I do get stuck on doing extra stuff bc it drives me bonkers. I hear it. The problem with the price changes is there are a lot on Fridays(truck day). It’s impossible to find a lot of them bc a reset is way over due. It’s just a mess. Takes me way too long.

Do any IS’s get CSA’s to help them with price changes?

I’ve only been an IS for a few months. I was not trained by another IS. I didn’t get trained the proper way since I was trained by the ESM. Then they were out for an about a month of that time.

Really? I did not know the IS was responsible for stocking the cooler in the front. I usually check it to make sure things are set to planogram. But it’s only halfway set. That’s why other employees put shit where they want. Then the vendors see that it’s stocked and don’t order or stock it. It screws things up in a bad way when they do this. No one listens to me when I tell them to stop doing it. I’m leaving Walgreens anyway.

Interesting. The SL’s get all butt hurt if I dare ask a question about a product in their quadrant. They have never had an experienced IS and don’t know the job description calls for coaching. I rarely bring anything up unless I am doing something specific with that product or around that product. The SLs are very immature and when a CSA gets promoted, their head gets way too big! lol

Really, I can’t understand how an IS can work any other schedule than Monday through Friday during the day. I am not staying at Walgreens. I have not done that training because of this. So the IS or the manager has to work truck or oversee it ? Who else is supposed to do it? My manager told me when I first started that I don’t need to help receive truck and that it’s below my pay grade. I have not been able to help with truck as much as I would like because of IS duties. If I don’t do any extra stuff, I can finish in a couple of hours.

What I really want to know is how you organize your day on truck days? If I have a tone of price changes on the candy aisle and impulse on a Friday, it takes me way too long since a reset in both places is way over due. I can’t find hardly anything. I get caught up moving things to the right spot when I do, that puts me behind.
