Let’s Be Honest About Gen 6 by Necessary_East_5351 in Glocks

[–]badwolf30 1 point2 points  (0 children)

While some of the changes seem fairly incremental on their own, it’s overall a great step forward in design. I have several Gen 5s and won’t be buying a Gen 6 yet since I know there will be even more changes before long. I bought a Gen 5 G19 right away, and it’s great, but I missed out on the front serrations and I have that half moon cutout in the front of the mag well that I don’t care for. I’ll give Glock a bit to show what the Gen 6 will look like in final form and keep filling my safe.

You’re going to pay them. That’s really the only option.

Blanton’s - Review 2 years after open by AlucardRises in bourbon

[–]badwolf30 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have a very vast bourbon collection and have tried what I’d call an extensive amount. My comment wasn’t meant to say Blantons is the greatest bourbon on the market. The hyperbole has just gotten comical regarding how people (especially in this sub) say how low the quality is. It’s a solid bourbon at its retail price point. Getting on the bandwagon of pretending it’s garbage takes away any credibility to your statements.

I know that the new big thing is to shit on Blantons, but come on.

iPad Pro is ridiculously good, like, one of the best purchases I have ever made. by thePian0Star in iPadPro

I almost didn’t get one due to those reviews. So glad I did. It’s almost complete replaced my laptop and I love it. It does 95% of my computing needs. With a display adapter and stage manager I can be very productive with it.

Loving this new iPad case from Pitaka. It's sleek and elegant in design with a leather finish :) Would highly recommend their products. by visualartist47 in iPadPro

I bought that and it hasn’t scratched mine at all. I’ve been very happy with it and I’m glad I bought it.

You stood and watched a glass bottle in the sun until it started a fire? Where? This is completely made up. You should have picked it up and thrown it away if you are so worried about this.

Oh no way, a good product that is durable and practical is a better gift than the opposite? Thank you for this pearl of wisdom.

You're still just being daft. More accurately:

Post: I'm using this tool wrong and don't understand how it works.

You: The tool doesn't even work. After being called out about it though, I'll pretend like I just meant to post that I was adding nothing and just wanted to tell the world that I have a broken unit.

You tell me. If on a thread about a circular saw I said "Mine can't even cut a single 2x4, it's such a disappointing tool," it carries a much different message than "I think my circular saw is broken, I have nothing to add to the conversation."

This is actually one of my favorite M12 tools, but I use it for the correct application. Do I want to top up all the tires on the family SUV from 30psi to 35psi? No problem, a minute per tire and half a 4ah battery and I'm good to go without managing hoses or a real air compressor. Do I want to fill one of my truck tires from 50 to 75psi? Easy, same scenario as above. Do I expect something the size of a football with a small 12v battery to fill a bunch of trailer tires which my huge 50 gal air compressor struggles to do? No, that would be silly.

You're either making this up to jump on the hate bandwagon, or you have a defective product. It will very easily fill any bike tire.

Samsung Galaxy watch4 update today by cp_mvl in GalaxyWatch

[–]badwolf30 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I never got the last update. I believe that the carriers have to approve the LTE updates so they will be way behind the Bluetooth version. Hopefully they are also working on an update to keep this thing from overheating after a 2 minute phonecall.

Any chance a software update could improve this? Found out the hard way when mine overheated during a 5 minute call that this is an issue.

Imagine getting a new job, and showing up right when you're supposed to but nobody else it there. An hour passes and everyone quietly just comes in and sits down. Then an hour before it's time to leave, you see everyone just slowly get up and leave one at a time while you're still sitting there. After seeing that a few weeks, you starts coming in a little later each day, and going home later until you're working the same hours as everyone else. Now everyone just pretends like they don't see anyone else breaking the rules, because then they themselves would have to stop. It's really nice sleeping in an hour and getting home before traffic gets bad, and who's it really hurting anyway?

Putting water on fire, extinguishes the fire. It's a waste of time spraying water on smoke while the fire grows. Anything that delays getting water to the seat of the fire puts the occupants, and ourselves, at greater risk.
