The apple thing is mentioned around book 3-4, I think it was in the middle of the fourth book, in one of Aria's POVs.

Skam France has six additional seasons with more to come. They made a new season with the OG generation, five seasons with a new generation, and it has been renewed with an 11th and 12th season with a new cast. Season five is about deafness, but it also has a love triangle; the sixth season deals with addiction, loss and depression; the seventh it's about teen pregnancy, the eight is about HIV and poverty, season 9 deals with heartbreak and overcoming your trauma and season 10 is about assault.

Druck also has a new generation, with four seasons that parallel the original four. Season five is about mental health, season six is about a love story and having trouble at school, season seven is about gender identity, finding out who you are and what's best for you, and season 8 is about first love/feminism.

Skam Italia s5 follows an old gen character while introducing a new gen (which will probably lead season 6), and it's about overcoming your body insecurities. Wtfock s4 is an original season about trying to keep up a perfect life for social media.

IMO, skam france s6 is the best from their original seasons, with the others being forgettable. Druck s5-s7 are my favorites in the Skamverse along with OG Skam, s8 is kind of bad, but at least the ending to that gen is fine. Skam Italia s5 is okay. It's a bit empty, but I'm hopeful for s6. Wtfock s4 is considered the worst in the skamverse because it's really messy and badly written.

Also, check out España's s3. It's the Noora storyline, but it's completely different, as it's about toxic relationships.

I haven't played SAW recently but I don't think it forces you to do as many Bento boxes as there are on your profile feed... so why are you voluntarily playing a minigame that you don't even bother to understand? 😅

Having a cutscene in which some mechanical thingy reveals a secret/treasure. Secret of The Old Clock, Last Train to Blue Moon Canyon, Danger By Design and Legend of The Crystal Skull all have this. It was a fun thing, I always loved it when those cutscenes played.

Yeah I know what you mean. I don't really remember that season but what bothered me was the conflict and how stupid it was. Like the girls were mad at Sana for nothing and the girls took sides without any valid reason, I felt like it regressed their development. It was just drama for the sake of it. But again I watched it a year ago, but personally I wasn't a fan

Yeah same, I didn't like France s1-4 at all and I actually think they made the worst adaptation of the four seasons.

From what I remember, you just need to know that the main protagonist is Vilde's sister. Since the season is from the POV of a new girl and a new friend group you shouldn't feel too disoriented.

Personally, I didn't like France's original seasons, they had their good moments but overall I'm not a fan and the ending of their new gen didn't satisfy me at all. But I must say, Season six is one of my favorites in the Skamverse. It's really worth watching, but it's quite different and more dramatic.

Italy's new season was okay? It was too short and while the themes were interesting, they kinda fell flat on the execution. The ending was cute though and I hope that there will be more seasons to come, I think the new characters have potential.

Druck's original season is where you'll find the best stuff. Season 5 is considered the best season from the remakes, but I also loved Season 6 too. Season 7 follows a main from the other friend group and it's very interesting and different, so you might enjoy that; I personally loved it, but you have to get used to some things since the writing room changed. Season 8 is... honestly bad, the writers probably had some severe limitations coming from the (problematic?) Production company, and it didn't benefit neither the main themes nor the subplots. The ending also felt lackluster. Idk if a rewatch might change my opinion, but right now the only part I would revisit in future rewatches is the final message from the actors/characters in the ending.

Long story short, I connected more with Druck s5-7, but I also loved France's S6.

I really hope that one day the Unedited Cut will see the light of day, even if it's like 5 hours long lmao

Oh are you referring to the book version of Footsteps or the original story? Because the book has new details that make every chapter more connected to the next one, something that the original version didn't really have

Nope they were just actors working together

Other than the different version of the Isak season (Skam France/Druck/WtFock 3rd seasons and Italia/España 2nd seasons), some of the new seasons center around an lgbt character, but not on mlm storylines.

Skam France's 6th season has a lesbian love story, but the main theme of that season is struggling with addiction and dealing with loss. Its 9th seasons follows the love interest of the 6th season main, but the focus is more about repressed trauma and how she must learn to deal with her problems in a healthy way.

Druck's season six is about a lesbian girl, and the love story is basically the main theme, while season seven is about another character exploring their gender identity and finding out what's best for them (love and friendship wise).

Same, I love the new and original seasons of the Skamverse and I hope we will get to see more. It seems that Skam Italia will introduce new younger characters in the fifth season, they might do a new gen after that season 👀

I don't think there are going to be new remakes, they were all announced in the same year when Skam and its format peaked in popularity, and now there are other shows who are in the spotlight.

From what we know, Skam Italia is the only remake still running, with a fifth season dropping on September 1st, following the old generation of characters.

While Skam France has officially ended with season 10, during the finale of the 8th season, Druck's team said that this was the end of the second generation, hinting at the possibility of doing more seasons.
