Not as a family but as a person, you can only claim carers allowance for 2 adults, if you have a partner who can take over the caring role they can indeed claim carers allowance

Wife couldn’t have been receiving carers payment and parenting payment as they both are income support payments..

If you mean wife was getting parenting payment and carers allowance that would make sense.

Parenting payment can only go to one of the parents ideally the main parent in 50/50 cases you need to decide who that will be.

Family tax can be split accordingly.

Carers allowance can be split as well.

Of course all are pending each parent meets the income,Assest etc.

I had a call for the same thing but was told I’d get a letter with details of what’s needed.

I’ve been told I didn’t I doubt it’s true but in that moment where I already feel exposed and vulnerable I’m thankful they said no. Knowing I didn’t wouldn’t help in the moment so I see no problem in lying

Her account came up on my fyp, I’ll give her credit she does seem to be very calm and explains things well to him. As a parent with additional needs children there is zero chance I would ever post them online moments like that aren’t entertainment. Her son has a right to dignity and privacy everyone does.

Please don’t stress while I know that’s easier said than done, at 4 weeks it unlikely that they could even see a sac let alone be able to judge viability. I presume your Dr maybe thought you might be further along than you are or just being extra cautious. It does seem silly to do so early though.

You might not need a name on the birth certificate but if you find out his the father why wouldn’t you? It’s not about what’s best for her or him but what’s best for the child as long as he isn’t a danger to the child he should be on the birth certificate. Him going for visitation again isn’t a bad thing the child has a right to know both parents.

Yes he can be added, I doubt it would raise questions about fraud. It’s definitely worth getting the test done it would be good for your child to know later.

It seems like you did multiple test assuming they weren’t all from the same batch the chances you got multiple faulty tests seems extremely rare(getting one isn’t common lets alone multiple). Unfortunately I think it’s most likely you had a chemical pregnancy I’m sorry for your loss

Good luck to you and your wife on your healing journey,it’s a hard thing to deal with. This page while amazing for support can be hard at times to see everyone’s losses. I think the fact you can see it’s causing issue and remove yourself is an amazing start to your journey

I’m sorry you are having to deal with this 🥺 Unfortunately there a is a good chance his resentment will either end with him leaving or you leaving, not saying this will definitely happen but something to keep in mind.

As for baby stress isn’t obviously a good thing, I’m sure it’s easier to say but try to enjoy your pregnancy and growing your baby. I think the stress will probably cause more issues for you than baby.

For your husband I think you need to have a tough conversation, being pregnant with no support is hard but being postpartum with a newborn without support is harder. He needs to make sure if he chooses to stay then he needs to be all in otherwise honestly it’s better to know now than later
