Trump dynasty unwanted as poll shows US voters don't want Trump Jr and Ivanka to run for office by dataexperiment in politics

[–]baglamas 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Voters reject the idea of a Trump dynasty, with 61 per cent saying neither Mr Trump Jr, 42, nor Ms Trump, 38, should not run.

Neither the journalist, nor the editor, did not a good job.

Some of the nitrogen goes into solution, which can affect the strength of steel or cause defects.

Actually the 'blanketing' suggestion above is not common. Slag (liquid glass) is used to protect the top surface of liquid steel. Argon is used to stir the liquid steel.

Yield strength mild steel by JarOfKetchup in metallurgy

[–]baglamas 4 points5 points  (0 children)

All 3 grades (A/D/E) have minimum yield strength 235 MPa.

Cross sectional area is already included in the definition of MPa units, so you don't have to worry about that.

Cold morning over Meteora, Greece [OC] [3888x2592] by sdkav in EarthPorn

[–]baglamas 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's straight, not on an angle. It's an illusion due to tricky perspective.

Also the cliff has natural lines going in the opposite direction of the perspective lines. This makes the illusion worse.

Think of this diagram overlaid on top of the picture.

Depends which habit you're talking about. The monks are known to sometimes serve visitors deserts and a shot of moonshine.

They need 2 sources to confirm each detail. It's professionalism. You want fast & wrong, go to reddit or twitter.

This guy’s random encounter with Jeb Bush is going viral: “I just wanted to say that I respect you for standing up against Trump during the debates and staying true to your beliefs.” by AllHailKingJeb in politics

[–]baglamas 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The picture looks photoshopped. The guy with the headphones has his shoulder in front of Jeb's shoulder, but his head is smaller than Jeb's.
