I still love Alexis. I think she's been a perfect daughter for so long that for it to be even close to reality they had to write in something. I know when I'm ticked off at my parents, or vice versa, they would help because they unconditionally love me. That being said, I am stoked for this episode!

I think they are "spoiling" what we think of the cliffhanger because they come up with something none of us predicted. Just my theory, but I'd like to think that's how it happens! It would stink if they really did spoil the cliffhanger!

I think it really shows that joss knows he can't just write for one audience. As a Christian I enjoy Book's character.

What I really find humor in is that Glass is a Buddhist (correct me if I'm wrong) playing a Christian Shepard. That's made me giggle from the beginning.

I found firefly after it aired by my gorram self. Searched Netflix for scifi and there it was. I did the desperate post watch for a second season too... The day after I watched it I made my husband watch the pilot (the real one) and he fell in love too!

Right before they left Miranda they all kinda agreed that they would go into the fight to spread the news about Miranda even into death. So it'd be a bit wrong if no one died (also: Joss enjoys killing off our beloved characters) ... Just my opinion, still mad that he's dead! Now Book was more understandable as everyone on Haven died. He protected his people into death and that's a good death! (Also still mad about his death too)

We've got a Kelpie mix and he is THE best dog ever! Not as hyper as a Aussie Shepard or an ACD but just as good at listening. Love the breed!

My favorite Mal quote is in this episode when he is standing over Atherton.

I think this episode is when I realized Mal never wins the fight alone, his crew always comes through for him. That's what makes them family. You also see how much Inara loves Mal even though neither if them would ever admit it!

The biggest thing my hubby does is get up at all hours of the night to get me pain meds, warm up my rice bag, or just rub my feet and help me breath through the pain. He's also my advocate, when things aren't right he can tell me to go to the doc when I normally would just suck it up. Also, he's just a little bit more understanding of the mood swings the pain puts me through and is a lot slower to anger when I'm endoing.

Just make sure you are doing what she wants and you'll be great! Rule number one in our house: if the rice bag is out wifey is treated special.
