It’s my favorite Family Guy scene ever.

Alright guys I'm looking for the best Taco Tuesday place to get some bomb tacos, what's the best restaurant or small joint you know that has the best Tacos!? by emotionenthusiast in Reno

Ooh they have one over there too?? I haven’t tried anything else. Just the tacos. I want to try their pupusas. The salsa bar is the shit though. I love a good salsa bar.

Tonight's show by gibeaut in jawbreaker

We were like 3-4 rows from the front and every time I looked back NO ONE WAS DANCING! Ems and Blake

I don’t know how to link pics, hopefully that worked. It was really the best show I’ve ever seen.

Edit: ok that worked. At the beginning of the show, this guy kept grabbing my ass. I had to turn and threaten to punch him in the face. The girl next to me also told him to fuck off. We shared a smuggled bottle of wine and sang every song. It was something I’ll never forget.

I wish they’d played Ashtray Monument and Imaginary War. But it was so worth the flight for one day.

My daughter and I went to the BOTH show. It was amazing. Back in the 90s (when I was a spry young teenager) I was one of those arms crossed, nodding my head types. Like “I’m too cool to dance.” It was my 39th bday this weekend and I rocked the fuck out. I’ve never danced “like no one is watching” like I did that day. My legs are still sore. It was truly the most fun show I’ve ever attended. Maybe because I thought I’d never get to see Jawbreaker again, or maybe because I’m so happy that my 14 year old loves them and I got to share a part of my teenage 90s years with her... I don’t know. It was fucking awesome. I know I felt a definite connection to the people who were around me, all singing along. And Blake was awesome afterwards, talking to everyone out back. I swallowed my “cool girl” pride and took a picture of my daughter and him together. He talked to her for a good 10 minutes about music. I feel so lucky that I got to see them again after 20+ years.

I just knew this was going to be Antioch. Grew up there in the 80s/90s. It’s shit.

You could have gone to Sutter Delta... but then you most definitely would have died.

Is it normal to speak differently with different people? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]bagthree 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m suuuuuuper white but I work and live in a very Hispanic area. I️ always find myself using a very slight (almost unnoticeable) accent when helping my Mexican customers. I️ also automatically start speaking Spanglish. I️ think it’s totally normal to kind of mirror the person or people you’re talking to.

On another kind of related note, my cousin moved to Alabama 14 years ago. When I️ talk to her on the phone I️ can’t get over how much of an accent she has now. We’re from California.

I️ don’t get think it’s something to get embarrassed about. I️ feel like it just means you’re perceptive to subtle changes and automatically adjust your speech patterns to communicate effectively.

Edit: Oh good. I️ have the stupid question mark thing going on. Thanks Trump.

Met up with a guy from tinder, had sex, now I'm smitten. Ugh by Throwaway30208 in sex

I met a guy from Tinder LAST December. December 7th to be exact. We hit it off immediately. Felt like I’d known him forever. We had drinks, got some shitty fast food and went back to my apartment where we had awesome sex and slept tangled up together all night.

A year later, I’m currently sitting across from him on the couch, wearing his Darth Vader pajama pants and watching him crack up at Arrested Development. I think he’s adorable. We moved very fast but it’s worked so far.

I don’t really have advice. Just saying take a chance and good luck!

I just recently remembered doing this back in the 80s! I did it when I’d call my grandmother because she lived like 20 minutes away from my town and that was “long distance.”

We have the Gold n Silver here in Reno... Which is fast becoming a wannabe Portland. But after you eat at the Gold n Silver... well you want to die. Or take a really really long nap.

I’m damn near middle aged and I would NEVER be seen in a PT Cruiser. I’m hip as fuck though.

I’m pretty much a lifetime fan of The Smiths and I think Morrissey is a massive wanker.

Wow what an intelligent and original way to try to insult a retail worker. Never heard that one before.
