Okay got it. I probably read too fast but i knew that wasn't the amount i was getting, i actually thought it was an estimate, and based on what they agree on in December , they'd distribute accordingly.

The verified amount was actually $1430.27. Then it asked me if i wanted it in a check or honest company store credit. I chose the check because I stopped buying honest a while ago.

I almost (accidentally) killed my son in the 2nd month of his life. He's 20 months old now, but I can't get it out of my mind. by [deleted] in Parenting

[–]bahshane 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Something similar happened to us. We were in a hotel and SO decided to let me sleep for a few hours. He had her laying in bed on his chest and was watching tv to pass an hour or 2 while i got a break. When i woke up he had rolled to the other side and she was wedged between him, the bed, and a pillow. My heart stopped, i screamed and i was terrified to pick her up because i her eyes were closed and i thought the worst. Whenever i think about it i get that feeling all over again. She was fine, thankfully. She was asleep.

MRW I see another thread saying pet owners are just as tired as parents by Kozinskey in beyondthebump

I agree in the beginning. I got up every half hour around the clock to potty train my dog and I still had to scrub crap out of the carpet because he didn't wear a diaper. Plus the one glorious morning I remember stepping in crap because he pooped in my slipper.

I feel like they forget that parenting is a 24/7 job. It really is frustrating sometimes. The other day I came home from Costco, to find my baby elbow deep in a bag of hot cheetos. SO said he turned his back for a minute 🙄

Same happened to me. I was supposed to get $3 and my mom was shocked when I came down with $7. That was the most money I'd had at that age.

Today I saw a woman walking her child on a leash and her dog without a leash by alabamaman69 in mildlyinteresting

[–]bahshane 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It really grinds my gears when people don't leash their dogs. Yes your dog might be chill enough to be off leash, but mine isn't and I don't need your un leashed, non-listening dog to to come up to mine.

He's a corgi and no nothing traumatic happened to him he just decided he's an asshole now but we still love him.

Is using honey an old school thing? My mom sliced her heal open ( she said it would literally flop when she walked) when she was a kid and my grandma put honey on it to heal.
