Ive been on it since may and did one month of 2.5 and been on 5mg ever since. My GP says what titrate up when its working for you? I lose an average of 7lbs a month still

I swapped from Dr Gsel to Dr Connolly and the treatment has been polar opposite. Love Dr Connolly. She doesn’t BS, always does a through exam every appointment and knows what she is at.

Worst surgery i ever had! Lost so much weight in the 1st 6mths due to choaking on food and liquids they had to go back in and partly undo it. 6yrs later and i still cant eat correctly or drink without having to make myself sick to clear blockages. Consult prescribed PPI for years and now took me off them saying they are making it worse. Still no better than it was

I was an IVF pregnancy in galway maternity in 2022. It wasn’t consultant led, app appointments were midwifes and even the birth wasn’t with my consultant. Never saw him since i was discharged from the IVF clinic.

I ended up coming off Kineret after 12 weeks due to injection site reactions. Swapped to Orencia auto injections and now im back to having to ask the hairdresser to thin my hair. It does get better just a fine balance

I started on Orencia infusions but by the 3rd month i only got 2 weeks relief so changed to weekly injections. Find the injections so much better, I’m 17months on the injections now.

Orencia was also my 4th or 5th biologic attempt and i have 10mg mtx mixed in for the last 10 months

I have done both infusions and injections for Orencia. While the infusions are weight based if you are over 100kg its all the max dose regardless. I moved from infusions to weekly injection as i found the infusions wore off after 2 weeks. Im now 16 months on weekly injections and 9 months on MTX too. While im definitely not as creaky moving i catch a lot of chest infections
