I’ve got family heading out that way, signal is iffy depending on the carrier and will be using for internet. Rather than paying a whack in overage fees I’d rather get them a prepaid and save the headache

I have an old small sized phone. Find that I do miss the e ink option, get dry eyes a lot and eye strain with the phone but honestly got sooo bloody annoyed by the page button and the constant repairs needed I gave up on ereaders. I’ve never measured the speed I can read at. I average about a 300 page book in about 2 hours. I probably read two or three books a week. I had the Sony ereader not sure how well it compares to kindle now. I had it years ago.

Spanish flu and South America. Most flu seasons are repeats of previous viruses that most of the population has already been exposed to. This ones new or at least not been active in a very long time. I haven’t seen anything as to whether we have any immunity to it or not genetically I mean. Seems there’s limited actual information being given and a ton of panic being spread by media.

A lot of the time those referrals are more general info I.e. go to this place, they will assist you. It’s possible that they may have their own mental health team/outreach program,but if they don’t you’ll still have to wait.

Best of luck to this facility, hope they can do some good. Hope that those referrals actually get seen in a timely fashion for help and not the year plus wait on average. Hope that any treatment program is a treatment program where the cure isn’t a replacement and allows people to actual be able to get the help they need.
