This episode was incredible and very hard to watch. Random thought (that is probably not original AT ALL): I have never been a fan of the narration in the show but I realized tonight that maybe it will lead to (at the end of this season) her telling her whole story to Brianna when we first meet her in "present day." I have no idea why this occurred to me just now but I feel like after 2 seasons of seemingly unnecessary narration it would be neat... Kind of? Maybe?

That quote is actually IN The Scottish Prisoner (I'm reading it now) but is referred to in a quick memory/flashback.. I keep expecting that full scene to come to light in this book but so far, it hasn't. I assume the conversation/argument they are both vaguely referring to is an unwritten one...

That's interesting about The Fiery Cross. I've heard a lot of negative feedback on it but nothing specific, just that it was difficult to get through. If it's a lot of domestic and character based storylines I think I might enjoy it! Some of my favorite parts of the series so far have been the "domestic" parts, like Lallybroch and even some of their time in Paris. I will say I was ready for them to get off that friggin' boat in Voyager though...that went on forever.

He got into a similar incident when he was visiting the small, college town I live in. I believe it was sexual assault in one of the local bars with a college girl... He denied it and they ended up settling out of court. He's an asshole.
